Alli, David and their children were lovely and welcoming. Alli was easy to contact before the sit and whilst they were away. Orla is a very happy, excitable dog who loves long walks and is happiest with company. There were walks along the river and up a hill with a beautiful view straight from the house which was great. Hermione the cat was low maintenance. Feeding the bearded dragon and gecko with live locusts and meal worms was different and a first for us! The Coppa Club nearby was lovely for food and views
Richard and Debs house is beautiful, it's been an absolute pleasure to stay here. The animals especially Dougal and Storm, the dogs, and Max the Cat. They are such fun characters. All of the outside animals have been a blast too. I can wholeheartedly recommend coming to sit here, Richard and Debbie gave very good printed instructions, and if something goes wrong, they are at the end of the phone. I'm going to miss this place and their wonderful tribe of animals.
Mari was very sweet! It was very clear that her babies were of the utmost importance. They warmed up to me rather quickly, after they realized I was providing the food :D We spent lots of time playing with toys. The location is very close to grocery, etc. I was able to walk everywhere which was nice.
All good things to say about my experience sitting for Amneris. We met up the first day and communicated throughout the sit. She was very welcoming and helpful. I immediately fell in love with the cool, plant-filled home. Great energy with lots of natural light. Fiona and Goose were lovely. Amneris gave instructions on their routines. We enjoyed cuddles with Fiona and talks with Goose. Two easy going cool cats. Chicago was great and we would love to come back some day! Thank you!
We had a great time with little Clive at Lexy's home. He is such a sweet boy, affectionate, love cuddles and is very easy to take care of. Lexy's house is cozy, located next to a cute park where we took Clive for walks. Annandale is a beautiful neighborhood and is very easy to get the public transportation to other parts of Sydney. Lexy and Shane were very welcoming and made us feel at home since we met them. They left us great tips for take aways and restaurants nearby. We already miss our buddy Clive and our time in Sydney. Thank you Lexy and Shane and we hope to go back to Annandale again in the future.
What can I say......our house sit for Frances was one of the most culturally rewarding sits we have done. The pugs (Indigo and Jade) were full of character and had their own unique personalities. They thrived with human affection and attention and we were only too happy to oblige. Kathmandu stole our hearts and Frances and Sherry went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and we felt very well looked after. The location was in a outer suburb of Kathmandu which gave us an experience rich in culture, religion and we witnessed Nepalis day to day life - right outside our gate. We always felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed our daily morning walks up the hillside tracks. It was truely an experience that tourists would never get to have. We would fully recommend house sitting if you every get the opportunity.
