Cat Sitters in Closter, NJ

Caroline was wonderful! She arrived a day before to meet our family & cat and see the house. She sent us daily updates and cute pictures of our cat each morning. She also offered to get us any groceries we might need so they would be ready when we got home. We came home to fresh fruit, flowers, clean sheets and a clean house. I truly appreciated her care. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing she was there to care for our cat because she was such a reliable, lovely person!

Heather arrived at our house 30 minutes after the pump on the water well failed (and we were flying off) and she took the whole thing in her stride. It certainly wasn't the best first impression but thank you Heather for being so understanding and patient. I was drawn to Heather as she had previously had a yellow lab and it was clear she instantly knew the 'lab way'. Boots was perfectly cared for and Heather even took time off from work to spend it with Boots for the first couple of days. We loved seeing their excursions through photos - and to this day, Heather captured my most favorite photo of Boots! It's clear she was happy and healthy. Thank you so much Heather and we hope to see you soon!

Jenny was a great cat and housesitter for us. She was easy to communicate with before and during the stay and sent us frequent videos and photos of Chowder, which we greatly appreciated. The apartment was spotless when we arrived home and Chowder was well taken care. Thanks!

Shannan was a wonderful sitter for our two parakeets! She spent so much time with them and cared a lot about making them feel comfortable and happy. The apartment was left spotless. Shannan was very communicative and gave great updates with photos daily. We’d love to welcome her back any time.

Natasja and Andrew have been our go-to sitters and I would recommend them to anyone! They are so communicative and reliable, they leave your house cleaner than when you left it, and love spending time with our kitties. Thank you both!

Maddie and their partner Nat took care of our two cats and chickens while we were away. They were both responsive, kind to us and our animals, and very respectful of our home. They were thorough and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while we were away and made sure that the cats were played with! Thanks for a great visit, Maddie + Nat!

We can’t say enough great things about Stephanie and Chris! They treated our house like it was their own and understood our pets needs. They spoiled our babies just like we do, and even took Gemma out for an evening to play with some doggie friends. Our house was maintained and kept in perfect order. We had the great fortune of spending an evening with them before they left, and we have no doubt that we have made life-long friends, and would definitely welcome them back for a visit or a house sit anytime! Diligent, conscientious, detail oriented. Warm, generous, considerate, chatty and upbeat. House proud. Sent lovely updates. Explored our local neighbourhood and shared their experiences. We came home to a happy and well loved dog and a pristine house. Simply the best. We were so lucky to have them. Thank you so much.

We would have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Barbara and Casey to house and pet sit and would be thrilled if they were passing through and would like to look after Daphne again - or even if they were free just pop in to say hello. Barbara and Casey are charming and delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them over dinner before we left for holiday. They immediately filled us with confidence that they would look after our labrador with care, love and great fu. Indeed it was clear from the lovely messages and photos we received whilst we were away that they did just that and all three of them (but especially Daphne) had a great week. They were very efficient and organised at keeping in touch before the sit and during. Our home was cared for and left immaculately clean and tidy on our return and they were kind and thoughtful enough to leave us some essential provisions and array of delicious and much appreciated treats.

Alexis was friendly, warm and very attentive to our ailing dog and cat. She fitted in with the family immediately and watched over our vegetables and flowers whilst we were away. We wish her all the very best :)

Morgan was an absolutely wonderful pet and house sitter and as a result, my husband and I were thoroughly able to enjoy our 3-week road trip. I felt comfortable with Morgan from our first virtual meeting. I could tell she was very responsible and also that she truly loves animals. As we planned the trip, Morgan and I corresponded frequently, and she was always very responsive. Whe she arrived the day before we left so that we could go over everything, she had already reviewed the instruction document and she had prepared questions. She thought of questions that I had not yet even thought of. By the time we left, the animals were already comfortable with her. Then, Morgan gave us daily updates and pictures throughout our travels, and it was so comforting to see and hear that everything was going well. Our older dog is 13 1/2 and so it was especially hard to leave her. But knowing she and our younger dog and our cat were doing just fine with Morgan made it easy to be away and have fun on our trip. When we arrived home, the house was clean and the animals were clearly well cared for and happy. I would recommend Morgan to anyone.

Natasha took such good care of our home and pets! She communicated well, sent us photos and updates, and updated us on arrival and departure times. She left our home squeaky clean! We would absolutely have her again.
