Stunning, large house with a large swimming pool and wide ocean views 5 mins drive from Noosa. We loved caring for the cats, Gracie and Millie and we are sorry to leave them. Peter and Karen are friendly, helpful and communicative. We hope to be invited again to care for their home and cats.
I had the wonderful opportunity to take care of Forba and Bailey in George and Susan’s beautiful home. The communication was detailed and complete from the beginning. Before they left , they took me out to a wonderful meal and showed me around town. They provided a list of places that I may enjoy but also places that I could enjoy with Forba. Once off on their trip they sent daily updates which I appreciated and they sent pics that I looked forward to. The house was incredibly comfortable and is beautifully decorated. Caring for the animals has a very easy flow. Forba is a great partner, she was fine on walks around the neighborhood and was on her best behavior with me on adventures when I went out exploring. She isn’t a cuddly dog but she is a very loving dog. I miss her company. And Bailey the cat…well Bailey came in to eat nightly. Would appear occasionally in the morning, but was out and about most of the day. This was a lovely sit and I’d love to return and sit for George, Susan, Forba and Bailey again.
It was a pleasure taking care of Stoli. He is a really good dog, full of love and joy. Mack and Beau’s apartment was very nice and clean, they made sure to explain everything clearly, so everything went smoothly. The neighborhood is fantastic too, there is a dog park nearby the place where I would recommend bringing Stoli with a ball, and you can easily have a blast playing there. I am looking forward to hopefully taking care of Stoli again in the future!
I had a great time in Auburn with Houdini! Auburn is a nice, unique area with a lot of history. It is also close to anything you may need. Houdini the cat is an older gentleman who at first was shy/independent. Luckily, after a little bit he warmed up and he would head butt my hand to demand snuggles. Kelle has a comfortable home and it was easy to work from there remotely. Thank you, Kelle!
I spent 2 weeks in Nailsworth with Herbie, Net and Charlie and had a great time. Claire and Craig were so kind and helpful in making me feel at home. I got stuck due to the train strike and they came out to get me late at night 2 days before my sit even started! The house and everything was exactly as described and I was working remotely the whole time and never had any wifi/connection issues. They also have a great home gym and are located very close to the shops in town. Herbie was adorable, never aggressive, and when he wanted to play he would let you know! He is up for big/short walks and was a great adventure buddy. He does pull unexpectedly so having a firm grip on the lead is needed when walking him. He listens well and loves to eat food from the counter so make sure you not leave anything out (learnt that the hard way)! Although he is a larger dog, he is very gentle. Ned and Charlie were great and Ned only appeared for breakfast and dinner, and Charlie typically slept in various places around the house. I had a really great time in Nailsworth and I would recommend this sit if you're looking to hang out with cute animals and explore the Cotswolds! Thanks Claire!
Purdie and Felicity are cats to enjoy. They train you well and are great TV companions. The house is lovely has everything you might need and is in the Rhubarb Triangle which has a great shop. Leeds and Wakefield not far, Blackpool and Cleethorpes, the Yorkshire Dales and all points of the compass a treat. We almost became locals and enjoyed the cats, the house and Kathy's garden vege's.
