I had a fantastic time in Totnes with Fred and Inca. Totnes is a gorgeous town with lots of beautiful walks, history, and a diverse coffee shop and book shop selection. Very grateful to Richard for picking me up from the train station and giving me a quick tour! As well as the drinks and cream tea Jane & Richaed left me (and the clean house with a lovely garden). Perfect for my remote study needs and the dogs are lovely. Due to Fred's reactivity, we typically walked into town where it's easy to avoid other dogs or up towards the farmlands with less people. Highly recommend!
Hope is a sweet old dog that just wants to lay at home and watch tv with you. A few short walks each day, food and, treats is the way to her heart. The home was lovely and great location.
We had a wonderful time at Liz' Finca, when we arrived she showed us around and explained everything to us. Liz is a wonderful person and we felt really lucky to stay at her house and enjoyed to take care of Katie and Muffin. It is very quite and beautiful there, and if you like it, you can deeply connect to nature and the mountains. All the best and much love for the old dog lady Katie, the cat and to Liz! **
Georgie was warm and welcoming and Doogle was a fun and loyal delight.
This was a very pleasant and relaxing sit. Annie, Beau and Bella were very easy to take care of and are full of fun and snuggles. Bob and Deb were very friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. They left a good printout of instructions. Their home is spectacular! Being right on the lake made everyday a fabulous experience. Inside, you will find everything you might need including a fantastic game room and movie theater! Even though there were plenty of places to visit, we didn't leave our whole stay. Thank you Bob and Deb for choosing us. It's an experience we will never forget.
Where to begin! Anna is an incredible host/pet parent. We really appreciated her Welcome Guide, which contains all the necessary information for setting up your stay. Her communication throughout the sit was second to none. She left plenty of space for our belongings and truly made us feel at home with her thoughtful gestures. The home was very clean and well maintained. Anna's home is located in one of the most desirable Chicago neighborhoods (i.e. safe, many cafes, restaurants and bars). There are no shortage of gyms, yoga studios, and of course the 606 Trail to explore. Teddy is a sweetheart. Since our first day with him he became our shadow, bouncing between us. He is an incredible wrestler, loves tug of war, and enticing you to chase him to capture the toy from his mouth. At the dog park he is the most playful, always trying to make play with the larger dogs! Teddy is very smart and a quick learner. For example, he'll ring the hanging bells on the door to indicate he needs to go out and do business. When bedtime came around and the lights went off, he went straight to his bed. He will not bother to wake you until you rise. During our sit, we were lucky enough to be there to celebrate Teddy's first birthday! A memorable experience to say the least. Since the sit finished, and being only a few days, we find ourselves missing him. We very much enjoyed our stay at Anna's and caring for Teddy. We wouldn't hesitate to care for him again!
