Minty was our first house sitting experience with a Whippet, and we are so fortunate to have met this little sweetheart! She is such a lovely and gentle soul that we loved her from our very first second together. She is very food driven and knows all types of tricks to get more treats, so don’t let those soft brown eyes fool you! We had a wonderful time with her. We were amazed on our daily walks how fast she can run in the nearby park. We often met Minty’s friends during our walks in the park and it was fun and heart-warming to watch them play together. Our evenings were relaxed, and she cuddled up next to us like Velcro! She has a lot of toys, and we were so happy to see her going to her basket searching one out that she wanted to play with. The backyard was the perfect spot to play a game of fetch. Minty loves the sun and always searched out the best spots to take an afternoon sunbath. She has a little bit of anxiety and starts scratching herself very hard, but it got better with time. Communication with Vivian and Sam was prompt and super easy. They welcomed us into their beautiful home with open arms. Their apartment is modern, absolutely gorgeous and sparkling clean. Heroldsberg has a lot of shops, restaurants, parks, and even four castles. Everything within this idyllic town is within walking distance. We miss little Minty already and would come back in a heartbeat! We would highly recommend a house sit with Minty!
Was an absolute pleasure to cat sit for Chris and his family. I felt so welcomed into their beautiful home and had a wonderful time looking after Alora and Pink Pterodactyl; they were both so sweet and easy to care for.
I feel privileged to have just enjoyed a lovely weekend looking after Archie at Hilary and David’s modest place.
Hilary’s communication was excellent, and I knew at all times what needed to be done and how.
Archie is a lovable, affectionate little guy, who appreciated his walks in the local Chew Valley, which was easily accessible from the front door.. And he was excellent company at all times, never straying far from you, and quite happy chilling on the settee by you.
The house and gardens are beautiful, comfortable and secure, so no problems with Archie escaping…. And apart from the good local walks, he was quite happy spending time exploring his own local garden and pasture.
I can’t recommend highly enough Archie and his family to others.. I hope I can revisit sometime soon.
It was a lovely time in Liphook. Benny and Mena are adorable, gentle, well-behaved pets, and you know you are the lucky one to be spending time with them! Benny is your dream dog. He is intelligent, obedient, comes when called and is full of character. He loves playing with his ball, chasing after sticks and coming to sit with you for cuddles on the sofa. Mena is a beautiful chatty cat who does what she wants and will come and see you and ask for attention or a lap to sit on. She also loves a cuddle and is big on purrs and snuggling up to sleep next to you. Both of them will probably end up in your bedroom by morning, and I found the morning routine a joyful way to start the day. The charming cottage has a south-facing garden which is a real sun trap. Even in February, I was sitting out in the sun and had washing drying on the line. There are plenty of walks nearby - Benny loves Radford Park. The nearby cinema is a real treat and plenty of places to eat out or have a coffee and a big supermarket within walking distance. Mandy was super easy to communicate with both before and during the sit and answered any queries I had promptly. Organising meeting up at the beginning and handing over at the end of the sit was very easy, and Mandy kindly drove me to Petersfield to catch my bus home. I would totally recommend this sit and hope that later in the year, I will have time to come and sit for Benny and Mena again.
