Caroline was absolutely perfect! Pandemic travel is so unpredictable and she remained flexible and understanding as our plans changed. She really bonded with Biscuit and it is clear that she spent a lot of time training him to be a better boy on leash. She spent a month in our home and when we returned we couldn’t even tell anyone was here. We are so grateful and she is welcome back anytime!
Chloe and Bella are two, very sweet, darling princesses. They are quite easy to care for, especially because Annette had everything ready for us when we arrived. The garden is lovely to sit in, with Bella on your lap and Chloe underfoot. It's a beautiful home in a quiet location. Annette and Alan really made us feel like guests in their home. Annette is very prepared, communicative and responsive. We hope to return again next year.
We loved looking after Monty the rabbit, he was no trouble at all. Amanda and Rob were so welcoming and gave us all the info we needed for a great stay. They provided a comprehensive house and pet guide for us and left us some groceries. The house is beautiful with a huge kitchen and beautiful guest bedroom. The area is very peaceful, with the village just a few minutes away, plus local walks and access to the Thames. We'd highly recommend this housesit and would love to return if the dates align again and we're asked back.
A truly lovely week-long stay with sweet old-timer Sid in the charming community of Spinnaker Cove. Sid was the best at being our buddy while we worked from this stay. He split his time “visiting” us in 2 separate workspaces and snuggled in until time for 3 smallish walks to greet the neighbors & take care of his business :) Tish & David left us all we needed to be super comfortable and with detailed instructions to make the stay a success. They were excellent communicators when things arose and even checked in when alerted that our own packages arrived by mail. We adore them, Sid and this beautiful location and highly recommend to other sitters.
We had a great time with Riley, she is just adorable, with the sweetest and kindest face. Walking in the snow and sun, watching her and my LO run along the trails was heart warming 💖 Kelly is amazing! Great communication, super nice and so helpful. She was open to me bringing my LO and my pups (who are on the older side) and everyone got along so well! I had some car trouble and she even helped me find someone to come to the house to help me out ❤ She is the best 🥰 Would house & pet sit here again in a heartbeat!!
Carrie and her family were super welcoming and chill, and Busy is a total cuddlebug. There's a nice park just across from their neighborhood with plenty of paved paths, perfect for walks, and a huge brewery nearby with an amazing taco truck and live music. (Dogs welcome!) All in all, a very easy, pleasant sit, and within decent driving distance to check out things in the city.
A very quite and relaxing property. Melissa is a great host, the house and property are very comfortable. The dogs are great with very individual personalities. No problem with the chickens, and fresh eggs. Would love to sit here again and explore more of the Big Island thank you for the opportunity. David Keegan
