Rose
Pumpkin is a bit shy at the beginning but eventually she will come to you and let you pet her for a few minutes. She is a lovely cat and was very easy to take care for.
Communication with Rose was really good from start to end. The post-it notes she left were very helpful. And, I appreciate the cookies she left for me.
Their apartment is nice, cozy, organized and clean, with amazing views of the city. It’s 15 min away from many attractions.
I had a great time during my stay, and look forward to coming back again sometime.

Andrea
I had a most enjoyable time with the pets at the Kyneton house. Andrea left very clear instructions about pet care and we had a useful handover before she left. Silver the dog was beautifully behaved in the home and in my car. She related very well to my grand daughters when they visited. However, she was nervous around other dogs when we went walking because of her deafness. Andrea warned me of this so it was fine. The two cats were great fun and Remy in particular was very cuddly. The house was comfortable with rustic charm. However, I had not realised that the toilet was in an unheated area at the back of the house and there was no television or microwave. The Smeg induction stove was very efficient, though. Andrea and Jane were responsive to the messages I sent and promptly helped me solve a few issues. Their home is in an incredibly good position with extremely quick access to shops, supermarket, botanical gardens, river and cafes. I was grateful to have been chosen to housesit and explore the region including Castlemaine, Mount Macedon and Bendigo.

Wendy
Wendy is a great communicator. We had everything scheduled however, a week before the sit, one of their sweet animals became ill. She was great at keeping me informed on his condition. They decided to cancel the trip to stay with Boomer. We would happily sit for them anytime.

Marilee
We had a wonderful stay with Tinsley in Marilee and John’s beautiful and comfortable home. It was spring in California and the many trees and shrubs in the gated community were in full bloom. The paths throughout the complex were well used by us as we walked Tinsley twice daily and they were a godsend as we were self-isolated because of the Corona virus. Tinsley is the best behaved puppy we have ever had the privilege to care for. She listens to commands very well, has a wonderful temperament and is just a joy to be around. Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen with room for our “stuff” in the fridge and pantry as well as the bedroom and bathroom. Communication with Marilee was excellent both before and during the house sit which was necessary given the rapid changing climate surrounding the CoVid-19. We would highly recommend this house sit and hope to return in the future.
