Cat Sitters in Cobham, VA

We were very pleased with Nicole and John staying in our home. They were in contact with us often which really helped us to know our pets were in good hands. They sent pet pictures and when we returned home everything looked perfect. We could definitely tell our 2 cats and our parrot were loved. Nicole and John were agreeable to water plants, bring in mail, clean the kitty litter and anything else we asked. We would love to invite them again in the future. We give them an A+ rating!!!!!

Mae and Ted were wonderful! They took great care of our pets and home and we had a lot of yard watering because we had newly planted trees and plants and no rain! We also had a situation where our hot water heater died literally the night before they arrived and they had to put up with that over a holiday weekend until it was repaired on Tuesday. They are professional, very self sufficient and left our home looking beautiful. I recommend them highly for any situation, we will certainly request them again if the need arises. Grayson was a wonderful pet sitter, took my babies on nice walks around the lake. Hopefully she will be available again sometime .

Shandi was amazing taking care of Sandy while I was traveling. Communication was crystal clear, Sandy was really chill when I was back and the house was pristine. Hope to have her taking care of Sandy again in the future.

We were so fortunate that Melanie was available to stay with our 15-year-old cat, Little Bits for 12 days. Our sweet female calico has gotten older and a little more frail dealing with hyperthyroidism. My husband and I were concerned yet hopeful that we’d find the right person to look after her needs. Well, Melanie was a gem; we didn't have a single worry the entire time we were away. We were also very grateful that she was able to arrive the evening before we left so we could go over things in the house and get acquainted. We knew instantly Bits would be in excellent hands. Melanie was watchful and very attentive. Her communication was beyond exceptional and we loved getting updates with photos of our girl. It was obvious that Little Bits was very happy with her new friend. When we returned we found our home clean and in perfect order. Melanie did an amazing job!

Nicole came for a long weekend and took care of my horses, dog, and cat. She had good prior experience doing farm sitting and was familiar with a barn and horses. They were fed and cared for following the instructions very carefully. Nicole handled some complications with the dog competently without a problem, and the cat adored her. The house and barn were left tidy and the plants and garden were all still alive after several very hot days. Overall a good experience.

Isak and Carolien were wonderful housesitters! They came by before our trip to meet the pets and get a tour of the house, and they were so nice and sweet to our dog and cat. They took Ruby on walks while we were gone, sent updates, and left the house very clean. We’d be happy to have them return!

Bethany was great. She was communicative, sent pictures of our animals and kept us updated as to how things were going, We would definitely hire her again!

Dawn was great! She took very good care of Harley and left everything clean and as she found it when she arrived. She also kept me up to speed on how Harley was all weekend. I would highly recommend her as a sitter.

Hope was a delight to have in our hope. She sent us daily pictures and updates of our dogs and was easy to communicate with leading up to the housesitting period.

We are so pleased to have had Jason and Bethany in our home. They are truly animal lovers -- it showed in every communication we had with them. We think Paige and Loki were actually disappointed when we arrived home instead of them. LOL! They also took extra time to carefully manage Paige's food intake. We feed her carefully measured amounts (to maintain her weight) and schedule when she eats so she doesn't throw it all up. Jason and Bethany followed these requests and Paige was happy and healthy because of it. They have been homeowners themselves for years and kept an experienced eye on our home. They even spotted a minor leak from our dishwasher and we appreciate that level of care. We'd give them 6 stars if we could. We hope that Jason and Bethany return to sit for our kitties Paige and Loki. They are welcome anytime.
