This was the most amazing house sit ever. Marley the beaglie is not just adorable he is really well trained, and tells you very clearly ( but politely 😂) when he wants to go out or wants his food. He is great on walks with strangers, kids, and other dogs which mesnt that I met and chatted to lots of people when were out. And he is just so cute and soft and cuddly. I love Marley so much I’m going back to see him later in the year. But what makes this sit extra special is the kindness and generosity of Kate and Peter and the sheer joy of staying in their stunningly beautiful home in a beautiful location. Kate and Peter left me heaps of treats like coffee, wine, chocolate, cookies, jams - the list goes on - just so thoughtful - and they even introduced me to their wonderful neighbour Lisa who took me to dinner. It was a fantastic experience. There are walking and running tracks nearby. a surfing/swimming beach and peaceful away-from-it-all spots. I cant recommend this sit highly enough. But ! only if I’m not available 😂 as I want to see Kate, Peter and Marley and stay in the house and chat to Lisa as often as I can !!! Thank you Kate and Peter for trusting me with Marley and your beautiful home. I hope we see a lot of each other in the future.
Teresa, Mike and family were so kind and helpful. I stopped by before the sit to get an introduction to things and they did such a wonderful job of making sure I was comfortable with everything and prepared for what ever may come up throughout the week. Junie and Millie are the sweetest companions and stuck by me throughout the entire day - whether that be gathering the chickens up at night or sitting outside for a morning coffee. Irie was aloof for most of the day but always made sure to sit by the door so I never had to go seek her out at the end of the day. When she was up for it, she was a great little lap cat and loved scratches behind the ear. Teresa made sure that everything was ready for me and was availability to contact should any issues arise. Their home was such a wonderful little oasis outside Portland but a quick drive up for dinner in town or visiting my family up in North Portland. Would absolutely love to return and watch the crew anytime :)
It was a pleasure looking after Banksy and Primula, both are such characters and very loving and good company. The house and garden are beautiful too. Thank you for letting me stay, it was a lovely break away too.

We would definitely recommend pet sitting here! Charles is the sweetest and super easy going. Puma and Hobbs love cuddles and they always come to sleep with you. There is plenty of nice restaurants in the area and stuff to do. Communication was great and we felt very welcome.
