Jane, Jason & Arya (aka the queen, not an ordinary dog🤣) are the perfect family. They are kind, honest and made us really feel at home all the time. Arya is calm, adorable and loves her walk but can also just be the best companion ever to sit and watch TV. Lovely experience with a lovely family! Thanks for everything, always in our hearts. ♥️
Had such an amazing time caring for Cosette in Vanessa’s apartment. Their description of the apartment is honestly an understatement of how nice the spot is—centrally located, amazing views, clean and light-filled, and super spacious. But despite the awesome space/views, Cosette is the real show stopper. Jeff and I usually don’t get to hang out with smaller dogs, but Cosette reminded us that a small frame does not equate to a small personality. Cosette is a comedic genius and so much fun to play with and accompany you on your New York adventures. We agreed she was our favorite part of the weekend by far (though Jeff is still bitter that Cosette liked me WAY more). Make sure to make some weird noises at her to see how she might react, get some kisses, and take her on excursions so you can watch as she sprawls out in the middle of the sidewalk such that all “peasants” must walk around her. (Also, read the Care Guide because duh, you need to, but also because Vanessa’s descriptions of Cosette are hilarious.) Anyway, we hope to care for Cosette again in the future! Thank you, Vanessa!
Paul is an easygoing person. Though he might not quickly respond to Whatsapp messages, he's helpful and trusted me as a sitter. Ono is a cute and beautiful cat, often stayed with me in the living room during evenings for some TV watching, then went to Paul's room for sleep. She loved going outdoor, then stayed on the tree in the front garden and waited to see when I'd open the door for her. It was my first time sitting in Twyford, a quiet community not far from Reading. It's self-sufficient and convenient with a big Waitrose and a Tesco Express.
Hi Alyssa and Toby! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We loved minding Jersey and Dodge! You guys were so welcoming and kind and have a lovely and fun home, we made full use of the darts and golf! Fish Creek Park was a two minute walk away which was great for walking the doggies and we saw lots of nature and wildlife there. A great fun friendly house sit we would do again and 100% recommend!
