A++ Alyx was a delight to have as our cat sitter while we were away for a week. She was extremely communicative and friendly and most importantly she took amazing care of our cat Prince. He was brushed, feed, played with and given “window time” til his heart was content. I did forget to leave detailed instructions for our tv system and Alyx was patient while she waited for us to respond to give her instructions over the phone. Alyx went above and beyond with another issue, when the internet went down she was proactive in trying to get it fixed. We appreciate her patience and attitude, I’m sure it was an annoying part of a stay (when the internet goes down). Our house was left immaculate and Prince was happy. We recommend snagging Alyx for a sit if you can get her! What a lovely, friendly and caring woman!
Staying at Gary’s and watching Penny & Huck was lovely :) The pup & cat were super chill & Gary’s really friendly as well! His place is in the heart of North Beach with the best view! Going up to the roof for sunset was one of my favorite things to do. Great sit experience, would recommend.
Beautiful house, lovely people and Mabel was a pleasure!
When I arrived in Brussels, on the first day I was kindly welcomed by Isabelle and Anne and shared all the information needed to take care of their 3 dogs, we also went for walks together and Anne explained a lot of nuances and tips on dog walking as it was really necessary as one of the dogs Zaya gets stressed at the sight of bikes and the first time walking with her is really a bit difficult, but after a couple of days the dogs start to trust you more and the walks become much easier. Also, Bobby and Bella are very nice quiet and obedient dogs, she will always lay on you and sleep with you, just like Zaya. The apartment was clean and had everything ready for my stay there. There are 2 large dog walking parks in the area and it is really a very nice place to spend time with dogs. Thank you Isabelle and Anne for your hospitality and for the good times spent with your dogs.
I had a wonderful time here!! Christine truly went above and beyond as a host. The ride to the airport and meals were so appreciated! I had everything I needed for a successful sit. The cats know their schedule and like to do their own thing. I would recommend having a car. Her place is safe and on a quiet street!
We had a wonderful sit at Klara and Milos's apartment. First of all their cat, Marvin, is absolutely adorable. He adopted us two seconds after we arrived and we fell in love with him instantly. He was the sweetest of all, sleeping with us and watching on us all the time from our lap, the radiator or the window. The apartment is great, very clean and nicely decorated, a place you can see is loved by its owners and where you feel good. It is located in a fantastic neighbourhood full of amazing architecture, small coffeeshops, a nice farmers market, a supermarket around the corner. And you can walk to the center of Prague or easily go there by tram or metro, it is a few stops away. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Klara, Milos and their little son Denis, but it was a pleasure to communicate with them and I hope we will meet them once, they have been so hospitable and nice! To anyone who loves cats and would like to discover the magic city of Prague, this sit is highly recommended, thank you so much Klara and Milos for trusting us, we would gladly we back!
I had the wonderful opportunity of staying with Woody for my very first experience with trusted housesitters. Woody is absolutely adorable. He has a very droll sense of humor, is able to jump about 3 feet in the air when it’s time to go out or time to eat, or if he suspects a treat.is possible. He was a wonderful companion and was willing to take long walks to explore the very interesting areas in and around Portmarnock. The house is fabulous. The location is ideal, close to everything that you need, and not so far away from everything you want to see. As for Kate, I couldn’t have hoped for a more welcoming, generous, kind, and brilliant host My only regret is that the stay was so short.
