What an great family both pets and owner, a very happy household. Tiger the cat was naturally in charge and only wanted to engage if food was involved. Rolo was the most delicious dog still puppyish and just adorable. There were some woods nearby that he just loved throw ball and catch a great way for him to get exercised and he was very good at it. The rabbits had an amazing run in a few sections that was very cool. And as for the fish they were tiny and so no trouble at all! The family were welcoming and I wanted for nothing, a happy time was had by all!
We had the chance to meet Mark and Heather right before they went on their trip and they couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. They have a beautiful home in an ideal spot of Asheville. We could see the lights from the Biltmore Village from the living room. We loved taking care of their dog, Griffin. He warmed up to us so quickly and he couldn't have been easier to take care of. He was so good on hikes (with a leash or without) and we could even let him outside to go to the bathroom and he would come right back when he was done. It was the perfect house sitting experience. They even left us a list of best restaurants and things to do! We would give it our highest recommendation!
Theresa and Anna were the best hosts and pet parents a sitter could ask for! They went out of their way to welcome me on my first day to San Miguel, and I immediately felt comfortable around them. Velvet is the sweetest girl ever! She loves her meals and loves to snuggle. I already miss her company. This is a sit I would definitely do again if I'm ever in San Miguel. Theresa, Anna, and Velvet are the best :)
Marisa was a wonderful host; communicative and accommodating. Her home is lovely. She gave clear instructions. Oliver and Mango are the absolute sweetest boys. I adore both cats and would sit for them again.
Julie is a very good host! She set up a comfortable guest room and created an enchanted forest in her backyard. I enjoyed having breakfast or dinner on the porch,, curious Sweet Mama Pea and the shy cats, glowing balls, hummingbird, flying fish and ducks in the bathroom and a big table to use as a work area.
What a wonderful week Adam and I had hanging out with Meg and Prince. Great characters, we miss them already! Highlight was a fantastic walk we took through the forest at Virginia Water, only a 10 minute drive away. Sarah's home is so peaceful and has a minimalist feel which was perfect for us as we work from home. It was lovely to meet Sarah who was welcoming, friendly and informative right from the get-go.
