Dog/house sitting for Bradford and Carrie was a great experience. The puppy, I'm assuming it was all her, is not housebroken, but with the three dogs being so little, it wasn't a big deal to clean it up. The homeowners gave us full instruction ahead of time on the house and dogs' needs, and left us a "cheat sheet" of additional info and contact information. They were gracious enough to allow my daughter to stay with me and provided us with a very comfortable guest suite. Their home is beautiful and spacious, the dogs were adorable and fun to care for, and the owners were pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend sitting for this family and would be happy to do so again myself.
Karissa was very communicative in the needs of her pets (2 dogs and a cat) before I arrived, and left a very detailed guide for the pets and the local area that was very helpful! Her dogs are absolute sweethearts--Stella loves to cuddle, and Kyia really tries to communicate with you via facial expression. Kitty loves being pet. The dogs wrestle out back with the cat for an entertaining national geographic show. I highly recommend Karissa as being very responsive and full of information, and her place as a lovely, pleasant, chill place to relax while taking care of some sweet animals.
Angie and Seth were great hosts! They were very thorough in helping us understand both how to care for their pets and how to feel comfortable in their home. The house is great. The pets were very loving and great companions. My kids were able to make friends with some of the neighborhood kids. The area is just gorgeous. It was our first time in Idaho, and it was a great, memorable experience! Definitely recommend both the location and this family for housesitting. Before they left, Angie let us know that we were welcome to reach out to her even with the tiniest of questions or problems. Very communicative and supportive! Thanks Angie and Seth!
I was so happy to stay in Meg's beautiful home in this lovely area of Scotland. She met me at the train station, picked me up, showed me around St Andrews & the local area. In her home, she provided excellent hospitality! It was a great orientation to the area and lots of info about caring for the sweet dogs & cats. Meg is very kind, and all the dogs - Maisie, Lulu & Chewy are well behaved and trained. The kitties, Rosa & Poppy are the best. I'll miss them all! Thank you Meg for welcoming me into your home!
If your interested in history Heather's shotgun house was an absolute delight. Well appointed and situated right in the middle of all things New Orleans. Keisha and Krewe were my charges while there. Keisha and Krewe are as different as day and night but the most loving of souls.They just want to be where YOU are, right in your lap might not be close enough. I loved every minute of their attention. The cautionary tale I will add is this. When it's time for Krewe to go out the door, he is like a bull in a china shop. He gets sooooo excited because he's GOING..... doesn't matter where.... because of this you really need to be on guard inorder to get you and he out the door safely out to the car to GO to the Dog Park or Dog School. Sweetest Dog in the whole wide world until the getting in and out any door. I already miss Krewe and Keisha....they will put a smile on your face!!!!
Evelyn knows how to make a sitter feel comfortable and welcome! Her guest room closet is empty with plenty of hangers and drawers, she has provided toiletries in case you forgot something. She leaves plenty of room in the refrigerator and her home is immaculate and well organized. She communicates “make yourself at home” with warmth and generosity. Ezra is a dream to care for. He let me work during the day and snuggled quietly beside me and then he was ready for walks and playtime. There are many great places to walk and hike in the area
