Alison
What a great house sit. Alfie and PADI are fantastic dogs - so gentle and friendly. Ali and John are kind generous people and we had a meal with them before they left for Spain. We loved looking after the boys and the fantastic home that they live in. Everything about this house sit was 5 star - we highly recommend this house sit and would love to return.

Amy
Amy & Joe were kind, welcoming, and super communicative. Their home is spacious, quiet, and cozy. We made day trips to Seattle, Bainbridge, and Olympic National Park. The Hoh Rainforest was a bit far drive for a day trip but so worth it if you’re in this part of the world. Luna is chatty, loves to hang out, and easy to care for. She’s a quirky sweetie and totally charmed us!

Rosemarie
Staying at Rosemarie and Francisco's house was lovely. The pets (Lily, Isabela and Emily) are friendly and easy to look after. Playing with Lily at the Mill Park is a plus! We've loved it. The house is very well located, close to metro and bus stops and the neighborhood has much to offer. Rosemarie gave us plenty of information and has helped a lot in our stay. We would definitely sit for them again and recommend It to anyone.

Maddy
Gizmo and Poopy are the best cats ever. Gizmo was cuddling me every night and Poopy is such a character, nice and fluffy and so beautiful and cute. I enjoyed watching them very much, they are the cutest and I’m going to miss them. Battersea power station is a really nice area. It has everything you need at your doorstep, restaurants, shops, food places and it has a really nice vibe to it as well as being close to the subway. Maddy was a great communicator and her house is super comfortable and modern. I had a great time and definitely recommend this stay.

Toni
I had a really nice stay at Toni's with Ziggy, Millie and Annie!

From the beginning Toni was really accommodating helping me getting to her place earlier given the circumstances I was in. Her apartment is really nice and functional, it is situated in a residencial area like 300m from the beach across playas Ballenas. From the city centre it would be a 15/20min walk so I'd recommend you to rent out a scooter/ quad if you have a long stay for convenience.

The cats are mostly outdoor cats except Ziggy who likes to spend quite a fair bit inside cuddling on any piece of furniture he can. He is the alpha male but with humans he is super lovely and you'll hear he call you for his snuggles. Millie takes a bit of time to warm up but she is also super cuddly, however she is mostly an outdoor cat. Annie is the wild one, she won't let you pad her or doesn't like to come inside the apartment too much.

To be fair it was a really easy sit, it allowed me plenty of time to go out to the beach, go out explore the surroundings and go out to dance salsa, bachata, merengue which is super popular here. Las Terrenas is a spot really developped with expats (especially french and italian) so the prices in day to day life are on a higher scale compared to other same size cities in Dominican Republic but for me it was worth it considering the lifetstyle I lead and opportunity I had to also improve my latin dancing.

Johanna, the cleaning lady is also lovely (she loves Celine Dion haha) and the doorman too I would highly recommend you to get to know them!

If you are working remotely or are looking for a really cool holiday in a safe gated community I would 100% recommend you to stay there

I had a wonderful time sitting with Scheiner and Gitel at Kira and Eph's beautiful home. I enjoyed walks along the river with Scheiner and seeing a moose there, too. Gitel is sweet and gives high fives when she gets her treats! Both are super affectionate and adorable. Kira and Eph are so thoughtful, generous, and welcoming. The views of the Teton Range from their home are breathtaking. It was such a peaceful and nourishing time for me. Thank you!
