Ryan is a great house and pet sitter and I definitely recommend him. He took excellent care of my apartment and my dog for peace of mind when I was away. He is professional, friendly, and experienced.
Wendi is a wonderful person and she makes you feel at home. We are very happy to have met her. Her home is a little haven of peace with her chickens, her garden and her cats. If you need a nature getaway this is the place to be. Mahalo
It was wonderful to sit for Appa! He is very much a doglike cat and allowed us to pet him and cuddle with him- a sweetheart! Ai's instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the apartment was comfy. If we return to Austin, we would definitely catsit for Appa again!
Kyo is very easy to fall in love with and look after. He's very zen. Affectionate if he likes you, also needs his space to enjoy alone time and explore outside. His "pawrents" 🐾 have set up a very efficient lighting system that lets you know when he's outside the door ready to come in. Genius! The newly built, 2-storey apartment has everything you need and it's clean and designed by contemporary standards. It's in a lovely residential area of similar, picture-perfect wooden houses that look like from a Christmas movie. There's a big supermarket 100m away, which you can use as an ideal hitchhiking spot to get to the nearest train station on the weekends, as the local bus only runs on weekdays. A lot of people commute by car; you'll have no problems getting rides back and forth and meeting great strangers 😀 Hokksund stasjon is a 9 min car - 20 min bus ride away. Once there, a 50 min train journey to Oslo. Faster renting/having a car, yet not necessary. The headline writes "countryside", yet it's a privileged, modern, affluent residential area steeped in nature yet well connected. Not an old farm in shambles surrounded by nothing. It's better than it seems. Bonus: a forest at a 5 minute walk & Netflix included for cosy indoor days. The duplex has a good soundproofing shell; perfect for home office focus in peace & quiet with a cute, soul-soothing view of the wooden houses in the snow. I only have words of praise for Lara and Bjørn: superhosts! They make you feel at home with everything you need, are good communicators and enjoy meeting new people & sharing. They treat you like a new friend helping them (not like a servant🤣). Thank you for choosing & trusting me! Been a pleasure.
Kathleen was super nice to us. She let us stay the night before the sit and explained and showed us everything we should know to take a good care about Callie and Romeo. Callie and Romeo are super sweet pets which is really easy to take care about. We enjoy the walks with Romeo, he likes to sniff a lot) Callie was mostly enjoying warm mat and her time at the sun. The house is in great and central location so you have access to everything you can imagine. It was a great sit!
Me and my toddler were on a three week holiday house sit with Scarlett - and Justine and Rohan’s current foster: Oscar. It's beautiful and so important that rescued cats get the chance by big hearted folks to recharge in a loving home like this one, before getting an adopting family for good. Scarlett and Oscar became really good friends already and they made our day with all their cute and goofy performances. We enjoyed a lot playing chase with them, (the smaller the ball, the better ^.^) or watching their play fights and then cuddling up, finding the most original sleeping spots. Oscar still has some street behaviour left but Scarlett is a good teacher and he will be the finest catto soonest. It was lovely for us celebrating Christmas and NYE with these two kitties- we laughed a lot :-) Justine and Rohan's duplex condo was really comfortable and was already decorated which gave us an extra cozy feeling. We had some fun splashs in the pool and did play and exercises at the leafy work out area (there is also a little indoor gym) We loved the fruit shop and coconut stand just a minute away from the building and went for groceries by bus or grab to the Mall. Thank you for your trust, we would gladly come back! Wishing you the best for all future projects ♡
Had a lovely time looking after Billie and Happy. Both dogs were very friendly and a delight to look after. We were only with them for a couple of days but fell in love with them. Christine’s apartment is lovely and the location is perfect for exploring London with lots of walking options. Watching the Shard Christmas light show from the settee was stunning. We would love to return to look after Billie and Happy in the future.
