Pet Sitters in College Heights Estates, MD

This was a return visit to our home for Klare and Phil, and they were equally outstanding this time. Although they were here only for a weekend, they had several issues to deal with...a sick dog and a brief power outage. They handled both well, keeping us fully informed along the way. Both Oliver and our home received excellent care. We look forward to seeing Klare and Phil again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Lynn was a fabulous sitter! She is an incredibly kind, reliable and friendly person, she (and Kenny) sat for our three cats while we were away for a week. We didn’t get to meet Kenny in person but he was lovely on the initial video call! Lynn came to our house to collect the keys and be introduced to the cats a couple of days before the sit which meant we knew everything would be in great hands. Lynn is a warm and lovely person so we immediately felt at ease knowing everything would be fine while we were away. We were so pleased to receive lovely photos and updates from Lynn who seemed to be having a fab time with the pussycats. They were all very healthy, happy and relaxed on our return, and had lots of playtime while we were away which they love. The house was also left spotlessly clean and tidy, so everything had been very well taken care of. We are hugely appreciative of the care and attention Lynn and Kenny provided, and we would highly recommend them as sitters. We would gladly welcome them back anytime!

I highly recommend Allie! She took excellent care of my dog, Marvin, while I was away. Marvin was happy, well-fed, and clearly loved during the stay. The communication was great, with regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind.

Pros: Brandi was a very nice person. I came home to my kitty and she was all good. She was flexible with her dates. Cons: Brandi stated she left August 11th but the video shows her leaving on the 10th, so she was dishonest. She mention my cat food having bugs in them so she threw out a whole half bag of hard food. My apartment is kept very tidy, theee only reason flies come out is if fruit is left out and she must have left food or something out that attracted the bugs. We originally discussed her only house sitting a month so she could allow client's from peer space in the apartment and sell off or receive furniture. I was lucky enough that she agreed to sit for meadow as well. My gut told me to hold off on peer space because I was getting good cell service at my silent retreat. I'm so so so so glad I did after seeing how she left my apartment floors and bathroom. She would of had to clean up after each peer space and I feel clients would have not been happy with the cleanliness. I don't even have living room furniture yet, just boxes so it should have been a breeze to sweep, vacuum, mop. There's plenty of cleaning rags and cleaners. I have white floors and she must have used dirty mop water all throughout the floor. Dirty streaks and foot prints all over the floor. She left the dirty mop water with the mop in it right in the living room. When mopping a bug place like mine you at least need to change the water four to six times. There was cereal left out and open. Cat food was left open on the counter. Water bowl didn't look clean, full of fur on top. Cereal crumbs on the floor. Coffee bean sprinkles on the cabinets. I usually leave my dishwasher cracked. She must have closed it shut and never opened it ever....because four wooden pieces inside molded over. It was full of clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Her hair products on the sink. Empty raw sugar box left in cabinet. Bathroom: sink was sticky, toilet had poop stains (smh I had to clean), and my precious bath tub was filthy. There was black specks in it and I had to wash it four times at least before soaking. I looked forward to coming home and relaxing but I cleaned 3-4 hours. I didn't except her to leave it immaculate however this was more than just touching up for me. There were multiple finger and hand prints on the walls from make up and whatever else was on her hands. This was in my hallway, bedroom, and bathroom. Bedroom: bedroom was ok, some cereal crumbs on the bed and under but nothing major. The bedding was left in the dryer, which was ok but it smelled odd so I re washed it. Two weeks in and she sent a few photos but definitely not daily. Also, two weeks in I became pretty sick and needed to come home to go to the doctor for a few days. I offered to sleep in the living room but her dad lived close by so I guess she said shed make other arrangements so she would have gone there possibly. A day later she requested to end the stay early, which was fine yet very inconvenient. I ended up going to emergency room upstate. She was patient with me and I decided not to travel back home while sick so we agreed on the 11th. She kept mentioning that I could come back earlier if I wanted to. I guess maybe the train sound got to her. I had a feeling she left early, but the video confirmed it. Not sure why she would think that I wouldn't verify. The cameras are visible outside my door.

Spandon was able to come meet my cat and see my house a few days before the actual sit. This worked out well due to my early morning departure. The house was exactly like I left it. Spandon sent me pictures of Luna hanging out with him. She looked quite happy to have someone to cuddle with even on a warm summer day.

Micaela and Alec were phenomenal pet sitters! They kept us updated with lots of pictures and cared for the pups like they were their own.

Catherine took such good care of my dog. They went on neighborhood adventures and Catherine shared photos of all the fun places they went. I could tell from her interaction with my dog, that she is indeed a pet lover. I had no doubt that my dog was in excellent, capable and loving hands. Catherine rolled with the punches as I had a few unexpected contractors (who were due to complete their work the week prior to Catherine's arrival...but did not) in and outside my home. She handled the situations and we communicated throughout. I would LOVE to have Catherine come back and stay with my dog, and I know my dog misses her already. She keeps checking out the front door to see if Catherine is back. I highly recommend Catherine as a zeewoi!

Koryn was a great housesitter! She was easy to communicate with leading up to her stay, and she came over for a few minutes before we left to get a tour. During her stay, she provided a few updates as we asked, and she left the house extremely clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable leaving our house and cat with her. Highly recommend!

Lisa and Kevin were absolutely amazing! I don’t think there are enough words to express my gratitude. They sent me updates and pictures the entire time and were great about the house. I could tell the fur babies loved them very much. Coming home was also so easy and relaxing, they left the house in pristine condition. Would definitely recommend and look forward to crossing paths with both again!

Victoria was an A++ house sitter! She kept a close eye on the garden (where I have fall seedlings growing), spent plenty of down time with our senior cat, asked questions (which I love!) and kept our home incredibly clean and tidy. Never had a worry that our cat or our home weren’t in great hands. 🙌 We hope to have Victoria visit again!

Anna sat for our Cailie again - she was happy, well fed and medicated while we were away. Anna is neat and tidy and her communications are timely and informative. We are glad to have Anna back anytime.

It’s almost impossible to convey the peace of mind that Lesley (and James) gave us while sitting our home and pets, and how grateful we were. Lesley was not only the perfect ‘house guest’ but treated our home like her own. When we arrived home from vacation, everything was in absolutely perfect condition; cleaner than when we left it! She had changed the sheets and even put out new towels! When it came to the pets, Lesley is clearly a pet lover and we would 100% entrust her with our cats and dog again. In the photos and videos she sent us, it was clear that the animals adored her – the cats snuggled up to her on our first night away; the traitors!  Not only did Lesley keep us up to date with their antics, but we also heard from our neighbours who had encountered her while out on walks, that she was such a great support, and that it was obvious she was treating our pets like they were hers. Jackson, our golden retriever, must have been sad to see her leave, because he seemed to get more walks and cuddles than we dole out – Lesley set a new standard of dog parenting in our house! We can’t thank and recommend Lesley enough. She is a kind, reliable and all-round fantastic lady, who we’d entrust with our home and pets again in a heartbeat.
