Pros: Brandi was a very nice person. I came home to my kitty and she was all good. She was flexible with her dates. Cons: Brandi stated she left August 11th but the video shows her leaving on the 10th, so she was dishonest. She mention my cat food having bugs in them so she threw out a whole half bag of hard food. My apartment is kept very tidy, theee only reason flies come out is if fruit is left out and she must have left food or something out that attracted the bugs. We originally discussed her only house sitting a month so she could allow client's from peer space in the apartment and sell off or receive furniture. I was lucky enough that she agreed to sit for meadow as well. My gut told me to hold off on peer space because I was getting good cell service at my silent retreat. I'm so so so so glad I did after seeing how she left my apartment floors and bathroom. She would of had to clean up after each peer space and I feel clients would have not been happy with the cleanliness. I don't even have living room furniture yet, just boxes so it should have been a breeze to sweep, vacuum, mop. There's plenty of cleaning rags and cleaners. I have white floors and she must have used dirty mop water all throughout the floor. Dirty streaks and foot prints all over the floor. She left the dirty mop water with the mop in it right in the living room. When mopping a bug place like mine you at least need to change the water four to six times. There was cereal left out and open. Cat food was left open on the counter. Water bowl didn't look clean, full of fur on top. Cereal crumbs on the floor. Coffee bean sprinkles on the cabinets. I usually leave my dishwasher cracked. She must have closed it shut and never opened it ever....because four wooden pieces inside molded over. It was full of clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Her hair products on the sink. Empty raw sugar box left in cabinet. Bathroom: sink was sticky, toilet had poop stains (smh I had to clean), and my precious bath tub was filthy. There was black specks in it and I had to wash it four times at least before soaking. I looked forward to coming home and relaxing but I cleaned 3-4 hours. I didn't except her to leave it immaculate however this was more than just touching up for me. There were multiple finger and hand prints on the walls from make up and whatever else was on her hands. This was in my hallway, bedroom, and bathroom. Bedroom: bedroom was ok, some cereal crumbs on the bed and under but nothing major. The bedding was left in the dryer, which was ok but it smelled odd so I re washed it. Two weeks in and she sent a few photos but definitely not daily. Also, two weeks in I became pretty sick and needed to come home to go to the doctor for a few days. I offered to sleep in the living room but her dad lived close by so I guess she said shed make other arrangements so she would have gone there possibly. A day later she requested to end the stay early, which was fine yet very inconvenient. I ended up going to emergency room upstate. She was patient with me and I decided not to travel back home while sick so we agreed on the 11th. She kept mentioning that I could come back earlier if I wanted to. I guess maybe the train sound got to her. I had a feeling she left early, but the video confirmed it. Not sure why she would think that I wouldn't verify. The cameras are visible outside my door.

Anaïs
Great flat, excellent balcony in a nice neighbourhood. Anaïs is organised and easy-going. Leo and June are crazy kitties but absolute darlings! Eating can be a challenge around them (especially Leo who likes to take a friendly test swipe at everything) so best plan to go out for your own meals ;-) I overall really enjoyed the company of these two!

I had a wonderful time sitting for Oliver and Logic. They got along very well and were brotherly towards each other.
Oliver is a beautiful and quiet cat and he loves to go outside. At night both him and Logic were very cuddly.

Logic enjoyed going on long walks around the neighborhood and would mostly behave well around other dogs.

The house was nice and quiet with a beautiful and large backyard. I enjoyed my stay here a lot and would housesit again!

Sarah
We had a great time looking after Feather and Izzy in Sarah’s home. The dogs were very easy to look after, and took to us quickly. Sarah hosted us the evening that we arrived to ensure we had plenty of time to ask questions and get acquainted with the dogs and the house - which was also beautiful and immaculate. Sarah was responsive leading up to the sit and available while we were looking after Feather and Izzy, which gives useful added peace of mind. Sarah also gave us local contacts just in case, and plenty of information about the local area. All in all, we really enjoyed this sit and would recommend Sarah, Feather and Izzy to others.

Colleen
Colleen was a wonderful host. She left detailed instructions for her sweet pup. My kiddos enjoyed her as well, going on walks and playing with her toys. Her home is very welcoming and near many shops and restaurants. We had a great time.

What a delightful sit!
Beautiful home with wonderful views in a quiet location.
Vivien welcomed us into her home and made us feel very comfortable. Handover notes and communication throughout was fantastic.
The 3 cats all had their own character. Paddington was so affectionate and just loved belly rubs, Maxi really enjoys company and pats and Mini- incredibly independent and very content sleeping in the house.
Guildford has some great cafes, restaurants and shopping. Only a 30 min pretty walk from the house.
We would recommend this delightful sit!

It was a privilege to housesit for Alison and Roger.
They are a really warm, hospitable couple with a home as beautiful as the photographs convey - you have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I particularly loved the cosy radiance from the aga, snatching the sun in the garden and the far reaching views from the bedroom. Take your binoculars, you never know what you might see!

Bella is a charm. She's a lovely friendly lab with a placid, easygoing temperament and great company on a long walk. There are some great rambles nearby and Bella's always willing to keep going - she's as sprightly and fit as a butcher's dog that's 50 (dog) years her junior! She has no issues with other dogs she passes, if they get a bit feisty, she seems to view them with bemusement and just keeps walking on by. She's a smasher, a really lovely pet.

Overall I had a fabulous long weekend and I'd strongly recommend Ali, Roger and Bella to any prospective housesitter. Hopefully I'll get to return myself one day.
