Very convenient location near bus stop to Dorking etc and walking distance to another bus stop in Ashtead with buses going to other places. The only downside is these cats are small and young so they are used to 3 feedings daily. Leatherhead is a lovely town surrounded by the North Downs and the Surrey countryside with villages like Shere, Abinger and Gomshall. For such it would help to have a car or a helpful relative! If going to Guildford you can take a canal boat on the Wey Navigation System and visit the Cathedral.

What a lovely home and pet sit in Monterey! First, the cats… Goldie is the ultimate lap cat. Just sit down and she magically appears and settles comfortably and warmly on your lap. If she doesn’t appear, then you can find her, pick her up and put her on your lap and she gratefully lies down. She greets you at the door when you come home.

Mimi is a quirky tiny cat who is more independent but meows when she wants attention. She adores pats but only in brief amounts. She is so small that it’s hard to find her in the house at times!

The home is very comfortable and we slept very well in the guest room. There were plenty of places inside and outside to hang out and read or watch television. The house was close to Monterey which was convenient as there are lots of activities there. Lou and Kathy were very welcoming, shared lunch with us and took us on a tour of the house. They responded to further questions via text or phone.

We enjoyed our stay very much.
