An absolute pleasure to look after the lovely Maggie! She was so well behaved and lots of fun, particularly in the mornings when her excitement at being let inside the house was just adorable. The house was stunning and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jill was really kind and welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The area is also beautiful, with the river seconds away and a nice park opposite the house. We were really sad to leave!
Our time with Archie, Amber, and Cherry couldn't have been any better and we already miss them so much! Archie and Amber are the quintessential happy and cute dogs. They are so energetic and our days were the best! They are incredibly loving and slept in our room from day one. They also were always close to us all the time. Cherry is an adorable cat. She is very cute, unbelievably healthy, and will let you know whenever she wants anything. She loves to sunbathe in the back garden and will promptly cuddle with you as long as you want. Trowbridge has huge green fields all around and you will have plenty of options for walks everywhere you go. It is a peaceful town and you'll learn your way around it in no time. Ruth and Dave were the best! Ruth is super nice and friendly and Dave is very funny and has the biggest heart! They waited for us at the bus stop when we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know about the house very patiently. Dave also took us around the city for us to learn the main areas for walking the dogs. The house is very comfortable and was really well-stocked with everything you may need, from cleaning essentials to pet products. Our room was cozy and everything was sparkling clean. A big Tesco supermarket is a 10-minute walk and the town center is a 15-20 minutes walk as well, making it practical to shop for groceries or go out to restaurants or the movies. Ruth and Dave left the car with us and we enjoyed the area a lot. We could visit some great towns and famous cities close to Trowbridge using the car and/or the train, which is very easy to get to as well. The neighbors, Sylvia and Paul, were the kind you see in the movies and think they don't exist in real life. They were super welcoming, gentle, and friendly. They took us out to visit some wonderful places around Trowbridge and offered us dinner with traditional food! They also kept an eye on the pets when we visited Bath, making it possible for us to enjoy the city knowing they were in good hands. It was sad to leave and we hope our paths will cross once again. Thank you so much, Ruth and Dave! We wish you all the best!
Matthias recommended I take a Bolt from the airport, thus I did. Went smoothly and cheaply. When there, I was welcomed kindly and everything was explained to me, even got to put some apps to use to control the air co and light in the apartment. Roy, the ever so charming black cat, immediately said hello and was super easy to get along with from the start. He will always have a lot to say and pretty much always be where you are, and he might often pretend to be on the verge of dying, though you just fed him and he didn’t even eat it all. Apartment is sweet and has balconies to the front and back, bed is super comfy, all was nice. Roy loves to hang out on the balconies and observe whatever is going on outside. Mattias and Kimberly were super helpful whenever I had questions, always responded quickly. Thank you for everything :)
We have just completed our first house sit in Edinburgh for Nadia, Kevin and the amazing Vladi! Nadia and Kevin are lovely, warm and welcoming. They made us feel at home straight away and were great with all communication. The apartment is lovely, clean and bright. Close to Edinburgh and easy to reach with buses. Holyrood Park is really near and is beautiful for walking. It is really is in a great location. Vladi is beautiful. A lovely, gentle cat who enjoys company and playing. He is super easy to care for with him using his cat flap to go in and out whenever he needs. He slept every night with our daughter and enjoyed being with us all throughout the day. He is playful and just lovely. Being with him was a brilliant experience for us all. If you get the chance to sit for Nadia, Kevin and Vladi definitely take it. It was just an incredible week in a beautiful city. We would happily return anytime we could.
We loved the opportunity to stay with little Bailey in his lovely Denver home. The home is in the beautiful Park Hill neighborhood with a lot of Denver history. Bailey is super cute and loves to walk and cuddle on the couch. Nichole and Parker were gracious hosts who left the house spotless and were great with communications and instructions. We would highly recommend this family for the future!
Mary and Carly we the sweetest. We loved Mary’s comfortable home and are so grateful we got to stay here for a week. Carly is such a love bug and immediately loved sitting in our laps and coming on adventures with us.
