Aurora completed a sit of almost 5 months duration for me in 2018. The first three months were a bit unconventional, given that I was still in the city, but living elsewhere because of surgery and a lengthy recovery. The last two months of the sit I was out of the country. Through all of it, Aurora proved to be cheerful, flexible, and responsible. She had to care for four elderly cats, all on different diets, one of which has to have eye drops, and one who has her own room because she doesn’t play well with others. One cat had had surgery about 2 weeks before Aurora’s arrival, and another had been seriously ill and was still recovering. Aurora had to handle 3 - 4 visits to the vet, as well. Between the cats, the house, and mail, Aurora was busy.
Yuk is an organized, steady adult - no drama! She took great care of our pup and left the house clean. We would have her sit again!
We had such a fantastic stay in Bournville. Luna, Ice & Snowflake are beautiful animals and we loved looking after them! The house, its facilities & location were perfect and we'd be back in a heartbeat to sit for Daria & family again! Communication and accuracy of the listing were spot on. Daria's place is very family friendly which worked so well for our family with kids.
House sitting with Bunker at Larry and Reta's home was a joy! The home offers Southern Living charm with that delicate balance of exquisite interior design and comfortable space where people actually live. Clean, comfy, restful... With beautiful outdoor space for afternoon reading. The best part? BUNKER aka Bunks aka our weekend buddy! He showed awesome yoga form with pre-walk downdog Asana. He spun around with joy at the prospect of post-walk treats. And his 3x a day meds were easy to give; he ate them in his meal. Only twice did we entice him with his beloved pepperoni snack. We highly recommend Larry and Reta's Bunker-sit! Thank you
We had a blast with Rosie in Cammo! Christine and Jim are incredibly welcoming, they introduced us to their family and really made us feel at home. Jim taught me the basics of golf and I learned tons about gardening from both Christine and their gardener Susan. Rosie is an absolute goofy sweetheart. While she's cautious at first, she very quickly falls in love with you and becomes your bestest best friend. We had a great time on our walks discovering Cramond and the millions of walks in the area, and cozying up watching TV together in the evenings. She's also well trained and will happily follow your queues. Christine and Jim have a wonderful large home with all the commodities and a fantastic garden. We very much recommend Christine and Jim's housesit and would love to stay with them again!
I knew we would enjoy sitting for the little “teddy bear” aka Alfie the terrier. He made me laugh with his antics, especially when HE decided which way we were going for our walk. To his credit, he showed me lots of little short cuts and I discovered parts of Bath I never knew existed. Great owners, house, location and pet - thoroughly recommended!
Harlee is the best buddy dog you can ask for. She will follow you everywhere you go and is excited to join you for every activity you do. Watching her was so easy. you could take her on any adventure or errand you needed to do that day and she is very well behaved. Kiana’s home was so welcoming and in a great location. Kiana was very communicative and was quick to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this sit and would be happy to watch Harlee again anytime!
This was such a wonderful sit! Joanie’s home is so beautiful and peaceful. Her communication both before and during the sit was fantastic. All instructions for Scout and her home were very clear and easy to follow. Scout is the sweetest kitty. She loves to spend time outside in the gorgeous yard, but readily comes inside at the sound of her treat container shaking! Everything about this sit was absolutely perfect and we look forward to returning some day.
