What a lovely home and family!

Barney, Sid and Bea are the sweetest and kindest dogs and cat.

The dogs had brilliant recall, were very well behaved (would not even eat until given permission) and were such a joy to have around. Barney has gorgeous brown eyes, and when he looks at you he just melts your heart. He is a gentle giant and is super patient with Sid and loving towards Bea. Sid is the most gorgeous little thing, so boisterous and cuddly and is completely devoted to Barney and loves playing with his squeaky toys (it was so much fun watching him play with his toys).

Bea was very easy to care for; she spent most of her time sleeping, but always meowed when we approached and stroked her, has her routines and had a lovely way of announcing her return home and mealtimes. She also spoke to the dogs often and rubbed herself against them as she does to humans - what a joy to watch.

Therese and John are wonderful and kind hosts too; Therese cooked the best vegetable lasagne (which was enough for two meals) and John took me on a tour of Tintagel and provided lots of information about things to do in the area. They made us feel very welcome and special.

The home is absolutely stunning, as is the area, with so much to see and do, especially if you love the Cornish coast and villages. The bedroom itself was like a hotel room, with an ensuite bathroom, views from the windows of the sea - very relaxing - and the bed itself was exceptionally comfortable with the thickest mattress topper ever. The rest of the house was decorated with beautiful ornaments and wall hangings and of course there is also the unbelievable well in the kitchen!

All in all this was a lovely sit and I am so happy to have met the humans and animals! We had a wonderful time and would definitely return in the future.

My sit at Sarah's was lovely. She was friendly, welcoming and helpful from begining to end. Their home has a wonderful "up in the trees" peaceful vibe to it. Makes you not even want to go out! Comfortable bed, good wifi... A+

The cats are all sweet, although each with their own personality. Quincy is the bold, outspoken one, and will make freinds with you fast. Mielo is not nearly as trusting as her brother, but will slowly warm up and stay in the same room for a few minutes. Solo likes some pats and human attention. And Roamy lives up to her name - she is the independant roamer - you might see her, you might not!

I had a great time there and would happily sit for them again if in the area. Highly recommended.

What a lovely housesit this was. Mary and Claude were very welcoming into their home ensuring I had everything I needed. Their home is in a beautiful neighbourhood close to all amenities. A very comfortable home with a gorgeous garden with a pool. Their neighbours were lovely and very helpful.
And Barney, their dog, was an absolute delight, such a friendly, well behaved and adorable boy.
It doesn’t get better then this, highly recommended. Thank you Mary and Claude.
