It was clear to us from the very first communication with Gail and Raymond that this was going to be a really great sit. Both dogs, Bess and William, are an absolute delight to be around, the surrounding area is beautiful and their house and grounds are simply perfect and so very warm and cosy. We arrived the evening before the sit began and were immediately made to feel at home; our hosts had also generously prepared dinner for us all. We were able to take the dogs on numerous "adventures" including the beach and a hike to the views from the iconic Glastonbury Tor. Both dogs are well trained both on and off lead, easy going around people and other dogs and a pleasure to be out with. This is a sit we would happily return to and highly recommend to other sitters.
Bessie and Buster are the best! We really enjoyed our time on Saltspring Island, caring for your lovely home, gardens and animals. Your pooches are very sweet and easy to care for. I enjoyed daily watering duties in such a peaceful setting, while Kees learned to commune with the poultry. We both enjoyed the bounty of fresh eggs, raspberries and fragrant sweet peas. We had a very fine experience on your amazing acreage and can't wait to return.
We had the pleasure to take care of Anderson and Bruno in Patricia and Steve amazing home. Walking and playing with them was so much fun. They are loving and so well trained. They behaved like they were ours. Thanks for all the information about your neighborhood. We would come back anytime.
Patti and Dennis were incredibly welcoming and personable. Patti made us a great welcoming sweet treat and provided great instructions for watching her southern gentleman, Handsome Hank. They have turned their home and yard into a little slice of paradise. The backyard is open and private at the same time, with beautiful flowers and feeders bringing in gorgeous birds and butterflies to watch from a variety of comfortable furniture. Their suburban neighborhood is very attractive and relaxing and great to walk Hank in. We had wanted to return to Toledo to do some more exploring and this was a great opportunity to do so. I think Toledo has way more to offer than people realize. The downtown riverfront is lined with great parks, museums, restaurants, and riverwalks, and there's plenty more in the whole metro and the region. Hank was easy to watch and adorable. We would return again in a heartbeat!
Zoe’s flat is beautiful, modern, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s in a safe and quiet part of town, though I could here the family next door sometimes. Albert is such a chilled out cat that is easy to care for. He is the best morning snuggler I’ve ever met! Definitely sit for him!
