Hayley and her daughter Addy are wonderful in all respects, as cat-and-housesitters AND as human beeings! I left my home feeling safe about leaving my cats, house and garden in their hands. They have been attentionate, caring, very loving to the cats, clean and resourceful, I couldn't have dreamt better. I had regular news about the cats and house, superb pictures and lovely comments. Hayley helped a lot also before my departure and upon my return, taking care of my young boy (not yet 4 years old) whilst I was packing / unpacking and parking the car. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel sure about leaving and coming back in good conditions. You can trust her entirely!
We were so pleased with the Anna & Fabio’s care of our pets and home. They will always be welcomed back. The entire family loved on our pets and cared for our home as if they were their own. Both Anna & Fabio were willing to ask questions and get guidance when needed. This set us at ease while on our vacation. Their communication was timely and relevant. The home was left very clean and organized. Even the sheets were washed and beds remade! We would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for competent and caring house/pet sitters.
David was outstanding! We feel so lucky to have had him take care of our home during very difficult conditions (sustained torrential rains). He went above and beyond expectations. Our (new) roof started to leak during the recent deluge, and David climbed up and implemented a temporary fix until our roofer could address the problem in a more permanent way several days later. He also designed and dug a channel for excess water to drain from our pond during this time when we experienced an unprecedented 10.5 inches of rain. David handled the floods much better than we could have, had we been home. We are so grateful! David also took our dogs for plenty of walks, and trained Stanley to run along side hime when he went on long runs. Muffin got plenty of cuddles and attention to keep her happy. We returned home to a clean and tidy home and happy pets. David also offered to bring us to the airport and pick us up. We would love to have David sit for us again any time - he is the best!
This was a really enjoyable stay - Kathleen is a kind and gracious host, and her home is comfortable and filled with art and little treasures. Romeo and Callie are wonderful characters. We really enjoyed getting shown around Queen Anne's residential streets and community garden by Romeo, and Callie is a very sweet and gentle old soul. If Callie is included in the sit, I would make sure you feel comfortable administering pills to cats or have some experience here. We watched a couple youtube videos but it only really clicked once Kathleen's neighbor showed us, and even then it still took a few tries to get it right (and she requires a pill daily). Callie is very gentle though! She doesn't claw or bite at all and so there was never any fear or concern there, just a bit of persistence and determination for someone who didn't have experience here. Kathleen was also helpful in coordinating a neighbor to come and demonstrate it for us too, so we really appreciated that.
