Steve and Jean were the perfect house sitters, we couldn't recommend them highly enough. Our dog Molly has had a wonderful holiday and wasn't very excited when we returned home! She has been exceptionally well looked after with long walks daily ( of which we received regular updates and photos) and has even lost a fair few kilos ( which is much appreciated by us!) The goats, chickens and ducks have been well cared for too. The house was spotless on arrival and Jean had prepared a lovely lunch and dinner for us which was also very much appreciated after a long journey home. What more can we say other than we hope they come back some day !

Christine was a wonderful pet / house-sitter! Great communication, totally reliable, took great care of the pets and the house; we couldn't have asked for more and it meant we were able to fully relax on our break away. Sorry we didn't get to meet Richard who arrived after we'd set off, but from the photo our dog seemed to thoroughly enjoy playing with him. Thank you both, you're very welcome back any time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to others on this site.

Belinda & Martin

Belinda & Martin are lovely people- we had lots of interesting things to chat about, the night before Nigel & I went on our holiday. They kept us well informed about Loki & Thor, & sent lots of videos. Thor was a bit grumpy, but they coped with that well. Both cats looked very well cared for on our return, and our home had obviously been cared for as well. I could recommend Belinda & Martin as excellent house and cat sitters. Thank you to both of them.

We love Nancy! Murphy and Nancy bonded immediately. She was sat on the floor snuggling him in no time. The house was spotless on our return, we got photos and updates about their adventures and we’d like her to stay all the time! 😂😇🥰

James

James took care of our slightly chaotic, remote homestead on an island in the Azores. He arrived the day before we left and had to take in quite a lot of information about our systems here. The cats were well cared for, the geese and chickens were all happy, and our home was just as we had left it. I didn't manage to deeply mulch our garden before we left, but James managed to keep things alive by watering every few days which we are very grateful for, as it was a very hot and dry couple of weeks. We would welcome James back at any time to look after our place.

Emily was great, good communication, looked after our dog, Lexie, very well and left the house clean and tidy. Wouldn't hesitate to invite her again. Thank you.

Jan and her daughter Holly were excellent house sitters. Despite their previous lack of experience with horses and sheep they put themselves out to visit before the house sit and learn the ropes. They stayed in touch leading up to the house sit which gave us confidence nothing was going to fall through nearer our own trip away. While with us they stayed in touch, sending daily updates and photos, reassuring us that everything at the house was in order while we were on holiday. A really good mother and daughter house sit combination. Would welcome again and recommend to others

Richard & Jo sitting was great! They walked our dogs, gave the medications to Emma (our border collie) and look after our cats very well. The house was clean and organised when we arrived. They even replaced our milk and butter 😁 It was a very good experience at all.

Absolutely delighted to have met Jonathan and hopefully in the future we will meet Sarah too. We arrived home to a clean and organised home, happy dogs, cats and horse. I do hope they will sit for us again as I know I can be away from home with complete confidence that everything will be tip top. Sandrine and her partner were really lovely. The weather was dreadful in February, but they sent us photos and videos every day, of them out in the walls. 
Really lovely with the 3 dogs with different needs.

Justin was very hands on and tried to find out what made Marley, our dog, tick. After seeing how much energy Marley had, Justin decided on his own to take Marley on longer walks. He also bought Marley some chew bones to keep him busy. He regularly updated us on Marley’s condition. Marley was a happy dog when we got back.
