Dog Sitters in Colne

Vicky has proved to be 110% in all ways. Ben loved her and she looked after the house and garden better than we do. In particular she went well out of her way coping and dealing with the loss of a bag of mine in Romania that contained all my important cards etc; dealing with various bodies with tact and perseverance. She arranged the collection and forwarding through DHL my replacement driving licence speedily to allow me to drive in Australia. Furthermore she is such a nice person, the neighboursn loved her as did the dog. I would like to think we have made a friend.

Alison and Adrian were wonderful Housesitters From start to finish communication was great with regular updates and photos of Molly our cat which was very reassuring On our return our home was spotlessly clean and tidy and our cat very contented They had even gone the extra mile in getting us in some provisions and some lovely flowers Unfortunately due to our travel commitments we were unable to meet them in person but we have no hesitation in recommending them and only hope they’ll come to visit us again in the future

This was Chris and Ian’s second housesit for us. Everything went very smoothly, our two dogs, house and garden had been looked after perfectly! Chris waited for us to be on the plane before leaving which was very kind as it was an evening flight and she had a long drive home. Elise and John were wonderful sitters for your home and cat, Loki. They took very good care of him, and kept us well informed of how he was doing. They kept the house very clean and tidy and we got home to clean sheets and a stocked fridge. Would highly recommend and be happy to welcome Elise and John again in the future. Thank you!

Gemma and John were delightful and I had no hesitation leaving Bunny and Olive in their hands. They communicated well, were reliable and willing to do anything to help. I would definitely recommend them as house sitters.

We were very nervous of leaving Tilly for our two-week holiday as she has severe separation anxiety. We needn't have worried! We were instantly reassured when Nadia applied. She was calm and kind, she understood the needs of our dog and of rescue dogs in general, and she was happy to take part in several Zoom calls prior to the sit to make sure we were all on the same wavelength. While we were away, Nadia updated us regularly and sent photos and videos of Tilly and herself on their adventures. As expected, Tilly did struggle initially to adjust to a new situation (she doesn't do change!) but Nadia was able to build her own kind and compassionate relationship with our dog, even teaching Tilly to be confident on buses! Nadia was meticulous about following Tilly's routine and liaised brilliantly with our dog walker and neighbours to ensure that Tilly's social life was not disrupted :) Nadia was super reliable and got on well with our neighbours, and both the dog walker and our neighbours commented that Tilly seemed relaxed and confident in her care. When we got home, the house was immaculate, in fact the bathroom has probably never been so clean before :). Most importantly, we could tell that Tilly had a great relationship with Nadia. We also really enjoyed getting to know Nadia and would recommend her unreservedly as a sitter! Thank you Nadia for making it possible for us to take a much-needed holiday and we look forward to seeing you when you are back down South again!

It was lovely to have John and Lynne come to sit for us again so soon after their first visit. Once again, they proved to be fabulous sitters, who cared for our little tribe of moggies and home wonderfully. I can only repeat from my previous review that they are a warm, friendly and trustworthy couple. Reliable, punctual, excellent communication before and during the sit – what more could you ask for? Susan & Barry arrived exactly on time. A lovely couple who were kind and lovely with Roo. He’s a lively pup who loves being around people. They followed the guidelines I left in a folder to help with familierisation and left everything clean and tidy. Thank you guys for your wonderful help looking after Roo.
