Greg and Jane were very communicative and lovely, the house was clean and comfy and Nena was just a beautiful little angel. I'd definitely go back 😻
I had a fabulous stay at Helen and Ron's beautiful Cotswold house looking after little Bertie. Bertie is such a character, I was sad to leave him and wanted to take him home. He's very loving and gentle, but does tend to lurch at other dogs when out on walks, but Helen did warn me about this so I was ready for him! Maugersbury itself is a is a beautiful Cotswold village only a 1/2 mile or 10 minute stroll into Stow on the Wold, but far enough away to avoid the tourist crowds. I met a few villagers whilst walking Bertie and everyone is friendly and will stop for chats. I had a lovely comfortable ensuite room overlooking the garden and Helen and Ron generously took me out for a meal in the local pub the night before, which was very unexpected and very welcome. Overall, I had a lovely stay with Bertie in a gorgeous part of the world.
Our stay in Nantwich was truly wonderful thanks to Chris and Cheryl! Their home and grounds are exceptional and so beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely dinner together before exploring the meadow, the home grown fruit and veg patch (where we collected raspberries for breakfast every day) and the outdoor swimming pond which was great for a cold dip on the hotter days which we were there. To top this off, the dogs were exceptional and so well behaved! Snip is a soft little baby (we named her mini) and Sydney is a lovely old man who loves lots of cuddles and attention. We took them on lots of nice walks, once into Nantwich which took and hour and a half by the canal, through the fields onto the older canal and to Beeston Castle. We are already missing the dogs so much and would like to thank Chris and Cheryl for their amazing hospitality and giving us the opportunity to look after this wonderful pair. Thank you! tion
I miss Lizzie and Koda already! They are such sweet dogs. Jennifer and Joseph were excellent communicators who left very clear care instructions for their "kids". Their backyard is a spa paradise. I took advantage of their sauna and ice bath to do a complete detox. I was just a week or two early to see everything in full bloom, but I can imagine how beautiful it will be once it's done. The house is well-equipped for anything you would need. I work remotely so I really appreciated being able to use Jennifer's office. I particularly loved her standing desk. I would 100% recommend this sit to anyone and look forward to sitting for them again myself.
Ron and Pixie are both awesome. When we first walked into his home, Pixie greeted us right away and within seconds she was in my arms - very loveable and cute! Ron is a great host and left detailed instructions on how things worked at his place and what we needed to do for Pixie. He also left a nice bottle of wine. Bainbridge is a great island - beyond touring the island we were also able to ferry over to Seattle and also went for a long drive up the coast to more northern towns You can't go wrong with a stay at Ron and Pixie's place :-) KEG
Dante is such a sweet boy! He is very obedient (and treat motivated!) cherry left wonderful, clear instructions and tips for the area and made my stay an absolute breeze. Thanks so much!
