Janis was an incredible sitter! We have two rescue pups that are not the easiest to get to know at the start. Our Staffordshire terrier, baby Pitbull, usually growls at new people for a few minutes when first meeting them. Janis triggered no initial growl at all! Our anxious Black Lab had never taken a treat from a stranger until he met Janis. She is loving, caring, gentle, reliable, smart, tidy and everything else that one is looking for in a sitter. She took great care of our home, plants, pool, sauna etc. She contacted us appropriately when there was a pool issue. We received lots of photos and information as we requested. I look forward to having Janis sit for us again in the future.
Anne was such a wonderful host. She was very easy going, warm and opened her home up to us graciously, making us feel very comfortable during our stay. She thoughtfully left notes throughout her home to indicate where we could find just about anything we would need, and generously offered her food to us. She even left a welcome basket! Very sweet and inviting. Now as for the pets - all of them are complete sweethearts! The dogs took to us immediately and were obedient, making them very easy overall to care for. During the work day, they were very low key and mostly slept, but were excited to play when it came time to. Feeding the turtle Houdini was an especially fun part of our stay! Overall, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of at Anne's home, and had a great time hanging with her fur family. Would recommend!
Beau and I had a wonderful stay together - he's an engaging, sweet, smart and well-behaved dog. I appreciated the comfortable location and accommodations and also the warm, inviting atmosphere that was provided by the homeowners who made sure that I had everything I needed and more.
Katherine is such a sweet, generous and communicative host. I'd highly recommend any chance to stay in their cozy home in a gorgeous SF neighborhood, so close to the Haight and Golden Gate Park. The "muppets" Bailey & Lucy, are riDICulously cute and rambunctious, still getting some training down, but very fun and funny pups to hang out with. All around a lovely hang ... Thanks Katie & Simon, A~
Looking after Amanda and Clive's home and pets was a great experience. We had a crossover day either side, which gave time to see the dogs routines and a local walking route. This was very helpful. On my arrival I was welcomed with a delicious supper which was so appreciated, and even learnt how to use chopsticks (thanks Clive!) The pets were such a joy to be around, each with very different personalities. Cal, strong but the softest nature and character. Loves nothing more than to sleep nearby whilst you are working, or cuddle on the couch in the evening. Loves his walks, and very responsive to commands. Dexter, the most excitable, very eager on his walks and will lead the way, a lovely affectionate little dog, also loves his cuddles in the house and will follow you around happily. Sid, the laid back terrier, happy to do his own thing at his own pace, will bring a ball to play or chill nearby. He particularly liked sunbathing next to my motorbike! The cats were no trouble at all, always around and food time, often doing their own thing the other times. Begw would appear for a cuddle if you sat still long enough (long enough being a few seconds) :) A wonderful house sit, in a beautiful part of Wales. Thank you again Amanda and Clive for welcoming me into your home and for trusting me with your pets. This sit was a breeze and thoroughly enjoyable thanks to your detailed information provided on the pets personalities, the house and the local area. See you all again soon for sure!
My husband and I really enjoyed this sit. Porsche is the sweetest dog ever and very easy to care for. She is happy when you follow her daily routine and all she wants is your company and affection! Cathy has created a peaceful tropical oasis in her home and we lacked nothing! The neighborhood has a lovely walking trail where we got our daily exercise and in the evenings we relaxed by the pool. St. Pete is a fun place with a lot to do and we also had the opportunity to visit the Dali Museum and viewed a Picasso exhibit. It was fun meeting Cathy and Porsche and we look forward to staying in touch and visiting again. Thank You!
I just had a wonderful experience with Kota these past few days in Pittsburgh PA ! He took a little while to warm up to me initially but within a day and with the help of a few treats, we were fast friends ! He really enjoyed his 3-4 walks a day. Nada is a wonderful host and her home is charming and neat. I loved walking in the streets of the this 19th century neighborhood. The whole of Pittsburgh is really pedestrian friendly even the bridges. I definitely recommend this sit!
