Ruth
Ruth, thank you for letting us care for Petunia in your beautiful home! We miss her so much, she’s the sweetest dog we’ve ever met.

We really enjoyed caring for Petunia. She is so loving and cuddly. We enjoyed our walks together each day. She’s so smart and tells you exactly what she wants. We can’t wait to hopefully see her and Ruth again.

Ruth was such an incredible host. From our first conversation, she made us feel welcome and trusted. All of her instructions were clear and we had fun hanging out together before she left. Ruth’s garden and plants are very inviting and easy to care for. The neighborhood is charming, safe, and close to everything.

Would 10,000% come back and recommend to others. Thank you Ruth and Petunia!

Carolyn
This was an amazing house sit and we feel lucky we had this opportunity.  Carolyn was such a kind and welcoming host and Archie a very fun and cool cat.  The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and immediately felt like a welcoming place to be.  The location could not be better;  safe, walkable and being just one block from the Presidio, nature at your doorstep.  Archie is a hilarious, fun loving cat that will brighten up your day.  He loves to play and he has an amazing personality. Carolyn was very easy to communicate with both before and during our stay.   I can't recommend this sit enough and thank you Carolyn for such a wonderful place to enjoy time in San Francisco.

Charlotte
I truly enjoyed taking care of Takkie in december 2021. Charlotte lives in a beautiful apartment in a charming part of Brussels. Since I live close by I was able to visit prior to the house sit to have a walk through with Charlotte, which really helped but Charlotte also has a comprehensive welcome guide to get you started.

The weather was horrible so I mostly stayed in. I lounged in the comfy sofa and worked on my computer. The WiFi is excellent. The apartment has lots of character and a lot of natural light. It's bedroom is situated at the back of the building so nights are amazingly quiet for being in the middle of the capital.

About the man of the house: Takkie is skittish and shy but oh so sweet. He has the sweetest little meow. He scares easily (noises in the corridor, doorbel) and hides in Charlottes wardrobe. His favorite hiding spots are behind her dresses and in a felt storage box. He will sit in that box for hours (you can just see his little ears poking out, so cute!). Eventually he will come out to check out what you are doing.

It felt very rewarding to have him finally trust me after several days. He rubbed up against my legs, let me pat him, sat with me on the sofa and plopped down next to me, showing his belly, while I ate dinner. Around nightfall he gets the zoomies and will run around the flat full speed. Sometimes he will even want to play!

Communication with Charlotte through Whatsapp is easy and friendly. She's a great and generous host.

Thank you Charlotte for entrusting me with the care of your adorable Takkie!

Sonny, Boris and Benji were a delight to care for - incredibly easy going and they all get along well together. Alonzo pretty much keeps to himself but rewards with some deep purrs whenever it's feeding time. Mozart thinks he's one of the dogs and loves to curl up with them and more than holds his own within his canine family. He's whippet fast with a great curiosity for the big outside world so had to keep on my toes whenever the doors were opened. Managed to work out how to cook on the Aga and always grateful for a lovely comfortable bed. The extensive gardens provided plenty of space for exercising the dogs although they were often happy to just explore or sit and look at the view. Diana and Dave couldn't have done more to make me feel welcome and to be available for any questions.

We had a wonderful pet-sitting experience with Hazel, a sweet, calm, playful dog who loved hiking as much as we do. Hazel's people are welcoming and had the house ready for us. The week before our sit Michelle met with us by phone to update us on Hazel's preferences and needs, and she was always quick to respond to messages. The house is really cute, has a generous backyard with a patio, and is in a quiet neighborhood. It was a short stay but we miss Hazel already 💗
