Marianne left very clear instructions for caring for her three wonderful cats. She was available by phone anytime I had a question. It took about a day and a half for Jackson to get used to us, but after that, he was a joy to be with. Emme was more of a loner but was as sweet as can be. Jamie was the most active but still a real love. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and very safe and had many side roads for taking walks on. It was a wonderful first house sit experience.
My recent stay at Ricki and Robert's residence was truly an unparalleled experience in my journey with Trusted House Sitters. The warmth and kindness they extended, allowing me to arrive a day early for a comprehensive orientation, set the tone for a delightful and seamless stay. They also made room in their garage for me to park, and made a comfortable and safe place for me to stay. As for the pets—Elly, Luka, and Charlie—they were nothing short of enchanting. Elly captivated me with her gentle disposition and infinite sweetness. Luka was a pure reservoir of joy and comfort, offering boundless happiness and energy with each wag of his tail. And let's not forget Charlie—so affectionate, yet graciously stepping back to allow the Goldens to bask in the spotlight. It was a poignant moment for me to part ways with these wonderful pets. So much so, that I couldn't resist requesting Ricki and Robert to consider me for future sitting opportunities. The location was a pet owner's dream—beaches and parks within close proximity, offering not only an outlet for the dogs' energy but also an uplifting experience for anyone fortunate enough to accompany them. I was particularly touched by the warm reception the dogs received wherever we went, including a local winery featuring outdoor seating—a testament to their delightful temperaments. The accommodations were comfortable and they house tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of north county, and Ricki and Robert generously accommodated my sister for a few nights, facilitating dual walks for Elly and Luka. Given Elly's more advanced years, this was especially helpful. On solitary days, a quick drive to the beach or park with the dogs in tow was an easy and rewarding adventure. To say that I treasured every moment would be an understatement. The wealth of photos and videos I accumulated during my stay are keepsakes that I will cherish for years to come. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to care for Elly, Luka, and Charlie again, and feel genuinely privileged to recommend this pet-sitting experience as an exceptionally rewarding endeavor.
Looking after Moss was an absolute treat! He is a super sweet gentle dog that is super easy to care for and either sleeps or likes to follow you around the house. He doesn't bark and is very well behaved. Dan was great to communicate with leading up to the house sit and was super welcoming and helpful on arrival! He left some great notes for looking after Moss and the house, which is so lovely. It is incredibly clean, and has beautiful light beaming in during the day. It is just a few minutes from a bus stop direct to the city and great cafes and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend this sit!
What a wonderful experience taking care of Castor & Pollux was! They are the most gentle, inquisitive and sweet souls - they take a little bit of time warming up but with treats and cuddles you will be best buds in no time. Chelsea was exceptionally communicative, hospitable and made my stay extremely comfortable. The place is located next to ample cafes, beautiful walks and I'm sure anybody would have a great time taking care of these two cats in this location. Thank you, Chelsea!
We’ve done quite a few housesits and I can honestly say this was one of the best we’ve ever done. Rae Ann and Robin were so welcoming and generous. We hit it off right away. And their dog, Lila could not be cuter. She was a dream to care for. So easy and low maintenance. Their home is absolutely lovely. It’s unique, beautiful, spacious, well organized and sparking clean. The view is to die for. I can’t believe how much the view elevated everyday life. Who doesn’t want to do the dishes while looking out at the sparkling bay?? Waking up the beautiful sunrise every morning was something I’ll never forget. Count yourself lucky if you ever get invited to housesit here! I know you’ll have an amazing stay.
It was an absolute delight to be able to housesit for Diana and Tom and take care of beautiful Duchess for a few days. Diana and Tom are very kind and welcoming. Communication was top tier both before and during our stay and their apartment is so lovely, and has everything in it you could possibly need. Most importantly, Duchess (Ducky) is an absolute delight to look after. Be warned - she will quickly have you wrapped around her little paws! She is a bundle of fun and fluffy cuddles in equal measure and very easy to take care of. We loved our stay, and would happily help Diana and Tom out any time!
