What a fabulous week we've had looking after Jools and Phils menagerie. All the dogs were to die for, they all had their own characteristics and kept us on our toes but also entertained. Tango and Tilley were adorable and Tango took his medication well. Tilley liked to keep herself to herself but checked in with me at mealtimes. The chickens and geese were characters and kept us entertained. Dre was there if needed, although Philip tries his hardest to keep him working not talking lol. It's a beautiful sit in a modern gorgeous lodge in lovely surroundings set in a central situation for visiting Cornwall's must see interests. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting.
It was a delight to look after Luke a gorgeous Golden Retriever, soo well behaved, cuddly, affectionate, and responsive. The hand over details were thorough and organised and it was lovely to spend the evening prior to the sit with Sarah & Chris and family making me feel very welcome into their home. Plenty of eggs daily from the chickens . The Bath area is beautiful lots of places to explore and lovely walks nearby. A 5 star sit. Thankyou for inviting me. Rosey 🐾
Valeria was a lovely host and made sure that everything was in place for my sit with Maki. I loved my time with Maki, who is such a great character and so much fun to look after. Maki definitely kept my lap warm in the evenings when I rested on the sofa! :-) Valeria fixed us a delicious meal upon my arrival and I really enjoyed visiting with her before and after her trip. I hope our paths cross again, and I’d love to sit with Maki again in the future!
I can highly recommend these lovely pets for sitters. The dogs took to us as if we were old friends and the peacock got close enough to eat grapes with us. Fiona has a beautiful home. Our rooms were really comfortable and great location.
Meredith’s communication, their beautiful house, and Chandler, the cat, were great for my weekend sit! Chandler is ok being alone for a bit but he was eager for attention when I returned, in the form of scratches and outside time (if allowed). He lost his outdoor privileges for much of the time I was there :/, so I endured his glaring as I ate a few meals on their back porch. Easy sit in great area of Boston, would recommend!
Rebecca & her husband were so sweet & hospitable. They had a lovely spacious home with a pool in a safe area. Their dogs were equally as sweet & craved lots of love & kisses which we happily gave. They were easy to watch & we’d love to see them again!

Elise and staff were amazing and very accommodating! We have never left our 3 year old Aussie with a boarding facility and they made us feel welcomed and at ease, from when they first came to get her from our car. I was given a confirmation call on the morning of drop-off and Elise called on pickup day to remind of hours. Our travel plans changed and they even allowed her to stay an extra night. Our pup was happy and well taken care of when coming home! She even smelled good! ;) We will be trusting Jin's, from now on, to take care of our baby when we go out of town. I won’t say where my puppers last stayed when we had to board them, but I will say how extremely HAPPY we are to have found Jin’s bed and biscuits!! My puppers came home, yes exhausted, but still happy, acting like their normal selves, and were in no hurry to leave!!! The facility is so warm and welcoming, I wasn’t rushed at any point and when I picked them up it was obvious they spent time with my babies!!! I have already booked them for their next stay! Thank you Jin’s Bed and Biscuits for taking such an amazing care of my babies!!!!
My favorite place to take our dog. She's like our child and we only want the best for her. It can be hard to get a spot last minute so I suggest if you know in advance you'll need boarding to call ahead of time. The facility is always clean and you can always check for yourself by asking if you can see where the kennels are. They always have let me walk in and I have never been disappointed. The kennels have a indoor/outdoor run. Which we love for our dog!
Absolutely LOVE Jin's. Unlike other places my husband and I have tried, our three dogs come home happy & well cared for. The new owner, Elise, does such a wonderful job caring for our babies. By far the best boarding place in the New Braunfels area.
The best kennel in New Braunfels, no question. Elise is so engaging, efficient, and professional, we never hesitate to leave our pups in her care. We love it if we see photos of them on the Facebook page.
I really don't want to tell you how caring and safe this kennel is because I do not need the competition for space when trying to board my animals - esp around the holidays! But Elise is the best and I think I would cancel a vacation before considering another boarding spot. The poor review from 5 years ago? Elise is a new owner. The previous owner was excellent too, perhaps she was having a bad day.
We felt very confident that our older Jack Russell was great taken care of! The resort was immaculate, which we appreciated!!! The owner & her Mom was most gracious. I will always take my little man there every time.
excellent grooming! My little cavechon likes to roll around outside and gets those little stickers all over her - they have a tool that gets what I could not remove out. My dog always looks wonderful when they are done with her!!! Super friendly, great service.
We have a boxer that is extremely known for anxiety and have recently moved to the New Braunfels area. We have needed a home away from home for our fur baby. After trying a vet clinic and a horrible out come for our first boarding service ever, we were so GREATFUL for the referral to Jin's!!!!! Let me just start by..... the love this place has (family ran) from the moment you are greeted at the front door! It's country feel, loving environment, open spacing, large play area (cats), large runs for all size dogs (ours is close to 80 lbs) and the over all IMMACULATE facility!!!! I had any and all questions answered, my concerns of his health (do to anxiety) were answered with complete attention, kindness, and reassurance!!!!! I was offered the opportunity to walk back with him to make sure he was ok, to see exactly what the conditions are like, beding that's provided, ect. When I walked back to the front I knew in my heart that he would be taken care of as if he was there own!!! Upon arrival, I was greated with the same love and kindness. Tripp was brought up to the front, with his belongings (as we provided our own food) while I was taken care of payment. He was so energetic, loving on the ladies that I honestly felt he didn't know we were there to pick him up!!!!! Your animals are loaded and loved on one more time by Elise before leaving. Again, thank you for your outstanding love and home away from home! It's a blessing to know the love you have behind your amazing bed and biscuit!!!! *We have already reserved for our next stay*
I can’t recommend this place enough! On short notice they were able to accept my two dogs while we took a long anticipated family vacation. My dogs stayed there for 19 days. From beginning to end, the entire process was comforting and reassuring for me as a concerned, pet owner. I picked up my dogs and they were happy and healthy, and they looked and smelled great since I opted for the bath right before I picked them up. I would definitely recommend the Red Barn Pet Ranch to my family and friends, and I will definitely board there again in the future!
Couldn't ask for a better experience for our German shepherds. This was the first trip in a very long time where I haven't worried about them. Stellar service. Our dogs, even our nervous rescue, feel comfortable here. And little wonder--they're treated like royalty! Highly recommend!!
We have been sending our girls for years to the Red Barn, now our granddog is part of the group. We can’t expressed how grateful we are to have a place to leave our fur love ones and feel they are at home. You can tell the moment your love ones jump out of the car to enjoy their stay and when they come to us with that big smile and the clean aroma of a bath well done!!💕

I highly recommend this place! Lisa and her team were so awesome and they treated my dog like family. When I got my dog Simba back he was so happy which is how I knew he was loved for when we were on vacation. The establishment she built is perfect for dogs and safe. It’s a little resort away from home. Helps make you feel at ease. I was so impressed when talking to Lisa about how much knowledge she had on the breed of my dog. She isn’t just your regular boarding facility she actually cares and knows what she is doing. And you can tell she loves what she’s doing. We will be back. My family and I put 8 dogs at this "doggy vacation" for a 4 day family trip. And I say doggy vacation bc it was that and more! Lisa and her staff were amazing from the get-go. There are multiple indoor/cooled kennels and outdoor play yards of varying sizes. They have chickens, emu, goats, pigs and other animals nearby which allowed for positive stimuli with the separated dog area. The staff was great and plays with the dogs at the coolest times of the day. Lisa lives on property so everyone was well looked after, as she will even text and send picture updates of your babies. I even have a dog on medication and some where on special feeding instructions, which Lisa made sure to adhere to for us. Some needed to be kept separate and some could play nice with others, which she made sure to follow through on. I simply cannot speak better of this place and I absolutely highly recommend Red Barn Kennels! Best first time boarding experience I could have hoped for!!
Lisa always takes excellent care of our two fur babies. We love that she sends us pictures of them playing while we are on our vacation. The girls love daycare and we wouldn't trust them with any other location ( we learned the hard way unfortunately). We like to throw in a bath during their stay as they like to roll around in everything. We are itching to find out the shampoo that Lisa uses since they smell amazing and their fur feels super soft when we pick them up. I 100% recommend Red Barn for boarding, we don't mind the little drive we make out to her ranch. Until next time Lisa, the girls are also looking forward to their next visit.

Lisa and her team are WONDERFUL!! Our two dogs can be "high maintenance" 🤣 and she handles them PERFECTLY!! Plus - they get a bath before we pick them up. The last place we used would bathe them, and they'd come home smelling like a mix of wet dog and perfume - yuck. Lisa's team does it right. Their coats were soft and shiny, no dry flaky skin (perfectly rinsed) and they smelled great for days and days. I HIGHLY recommend this place as long as you don't take my spot on key travel dates 😁😁.
I took my Bella very frequently during these last 2 years due to work (daily visits) and/or weekend trips (boarding). Bella was loved and taken care of here, and price was fair. I no longer need services as Bella has gone on to doggie heaven, RIP Bella. Joey's Legacy Doggie Daycare, thank you for taking care of my doggie like she was your own. Much love! 💕

This is the only place I feel comfortable boarding my 2 dogs. They have stayed here about 8-10 times and every time I have dropped them off and picked them up they are always so happy! They never seem stressed, depressed, or anxious. Communication is always good with drop off and pick up, and they will send you pictures of your animals/give you updates on them as well!
I go to a lot of trouble and drive hundreds of miles out of the way so we can go visit "Aunt Jakki" a few times a year. I should find somewhere closer, but the little one is so comfortable and had so many interesting friends to meet and has so much fun that we just don't want to go anywhere else. She is loved and cared for in her home away from home far more than she would be anywhere else, so we will probably keep coming to Aunt Jakki's for many more years. You can too,!
They were accommodating when two dozen other places would not be. I'm dropping my baby off tomorrow and will update this but I have high expectations and I truly believe she will outdo even those. Update: Years later and still my go to spot for boarding and daycare, just remember to get the pets bath before pickup

I took my dog to Home 2 Home for a 4 day stay. I couldn't be happier with my experience. He had a ton of fun and was well taken care of. Prices were extremely reasonable and the service was better than bigger boarding and daycare. I will be using Home 2 Home every time I need someone to look after my boy.

We love On Paws! Our pup gets so excited every time we drop her off and is always good and tired out when we pick her up. The owners and staff are amazing and scheduling for both daycare services and boarding is a breeze. HIGHLY recommend trying them out!
We just picked up both of our dogs from a weekend of boarding at On Paws, and we couldn’t be happier! I feel like they went on a little doggy vacation. We are big fans of On Paws!!! We have been taking our dog here since she was a baby. Every time we pull into the driveway, Mom and Dad pretty much cease to exist, and she just wants to get to daycare as fast as possible. It’s very comforting to know our pup is well cared for and that she’s enjoying herself while we are out of town. We also know our kitties at home are well cared for when On Paws comes over. We also receive text updates while we are gone, which adds additional peace of mind and makes us smile. We are very grateful to On Paws for their trustworthy care for our pets, and we highly recommend them!

On paws saved me in a very urgent situation! Petsitter cancelled at 5pm the day before we were supposed to fly out. We were able to schedule a meet and greet early the following morning. Their service was unmatched while we were away. Pictures, notes, updates each and every visit left my anxious heart knowing our babies were in good hands!
We were gone for a week and the dogs were happy and well cared for the whole time. They got lots of attention and were great when we arrived home. I love the updates I get after each visit with pictures because it gives me comfort. Thanks so much.
Very pleased with the sitters who came to home to feed 2 cats and 1 dog while I was out of town. Cats are shy, just needed food put out for them a.m/p.m. Spent time to interact with dog playing ball outside and with his toys inside. Provided a little exercise and familiar activity for his sake. I had never been away since rescuing him. I was a "Nervous Nellie' over his anxiety with strangers and being left alone. They offered no difficulties, sent status reports after each visit, including some pics which was a wonderful reassurance! I would highly recommend their care and personal attention if anyone has a need in the future❣️
Lily loves going to OnPaws. She is skittish around adults and they work with her so she will get out and play with her doggie peers. She loves dogs of all sizes!!
We have entrusted the safety and wellbeing of our three cats (the kids) with Cathy and her team for years. When we travel the sitter arrives for the daily in-home visits timely, checks on the kids, tidies, sends us photos, and gives lots of pets and love. I will gladly recommend Cathy’s Critters Care to anyone needing pet sitter service. I was very pleased with my pups being at home in familiar surroundings instead of in a crate at a boarder. And I had them there when I got home on Sunday, rather than waiting til Monday (and paying for another night) when the vet opens. The sitter sent me updates and photos with each of their visits. AND it ended up being less costly than boarding them. I will definitely use them again!
We ❤️ the team at Cathy's Critter Care. We love the fact that when we have to leave them overnight, our dogs can stay stress-free at home and get just as much love and attention (maybe even more) than they would if we were there. We have been using Cathy’s Critter Care for a year now and we are so happy and pleased with their level of care, communication and reliability when caring for our sweet pets while we are away. They take care of every detail and even send beautiful photos of our pets after every visit. They even went above and beyond this last visit and set up a food/box shelter with food for one of our regular outdoor feral cat visitors when the temperature dipped too low (close to freezing) overnight. We used Cathy's Critter Care while we were gone for nine days. They were very thorough. They came to our house for a pre-visit to familiarize themselves with our animals, the house, and our needs. Our cats and birds were well taken care of. They were fed, watered, areas were cleaned, and they even played with our pets. They provided us updates throughout each visit, which included pictures of our animals. They brought our mail in from the front porch. I will use them again and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
I love Gruene Barks and Rec! I am always a little anxious when we leave town and have to leave our little Wilma behind, but everyone at Gruene Barks makes me feel so reassured that Wilma will do great! Everyone is always so nice and attentive. I love being able to call and check in on Wilma during her stay, and I love seeing photos of her and her new doggy friends on social media. If family or friends are in need of a place to board their pup, I ALWAYS recommend Gruene Barks!
I can't recommend Gruene Barks & Rec enough! My weiner dog, Gary, has stayed with them multiple times over the past year, and I’ve been consistently impressed by the exceptional care they provide. Gary just had his latest stay for over a week, and I always feel completely confident leaving him there because the staff is so friendly, attentive, and truly loves the dogs they care for. What I appreciate most is how they make me feel like Gary is in great hands — I know he’s safe, happy, and well taken care of when I drop him off. The staff is always so welcoming and takes the time to get to know each dog, and they even post pictures of Gary while he's there, which is such a nice touch to keep me updated on how he’s doing! In addition to boarding, they also offer grooming services, and they do an outstanding job. Gary always comes home looking great, smelling fresh, and feeling so happy. It’s clear that they treat him like family, and I trust them completely with his care. I’ve recommended Gruene Barks & Rec to all my friends in town, and I would encourage anyone looking for a reliable, loving place to board their dog to check them out. They are fantastic, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Paws down the absolute best dog boarding in New Braunfels. Amazing staff, very caring and you can tell they love their job and it shows. My pups were extremely happy during their stay. Looking forward to utilizing their services over and over in the future.
Large Breed Owners BEWARE!!! ⚠️ I recently boarded my dog, an American Staffordshire Terrier, at this facility for four days. PRIOR to booking, I took time to carefully assess the environment, visiting in person WITH MY DOG and calling to confirm their policies around group play and breed restrictions, I was assured there were no restrictions that would impact my dog, and that she could participate in group play, something very important to us as my dog is a social butterfly. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly, which initially made it feel like a great fit. However, when I returned to drop off my dog, I noticed she was placed in an individual area with a “no group play” sign on her kennel. Despite my concerns, I was told it was just part of an internal system snd she "was group play". Upon picking her up, I was informed that my dog was "amazing", had NO ISSUES, they even posted her playing on THEIR instagram, but informed—after paying— due to her breed and an incident with a dog long before our walk through, she would not be allowed in group play if boarded again. At bare minimum when they met my dog Prior to her boarding, they should have mentioned this restriction and their past experiences. This restriction was never mentioned during our initial phone discussions OR THE MEET UP PRIOR TO BOARDING WHEN THEY MET MY DOG AND I, even though I had clearly stated her breed multiple times and GROUP Play was a deal breaker for us. From what I was told the 1st day of their arrival dogs are not group played as the staff needs to see how they will do with other dogs, which is understandable. While the staff were welcoming and the facility was impressive, I would caution other owners, especially those with large or pit-type breeds, to be wary. The inconsistent communication about breed restrictions and group play policies made the experience frustrating, and I would not recommend this facility if social playtime is a priority for your pet. I personally feel like this tactic was a bait and switch due to me being very upfront and them seeing my dog prior to her being boarded. This makes me question if dogs that behave well - but happen to be larger breeds or certain type of breeds - are being group played at all. It is clearly not based on the individual dog because my dog was said to be very well-behaved. She is Potty trained, understands commands and extra friendly also. FYI the "group play" side is on the far right side of the facility. The None group play/larger dog breed area is on the far left (with individual access to grass area doggie outside for each dog). Sadly, I recommend a random check up if you can, to see where your dog is placed and how the cage is labeled Prior to leaving your dog for an extended amount of time in this facility. Update to Owners response: Please see picture for EVIDENCE! -This business Informed me Via telephone call on Oct 28th there was no Restrictions on group play for breeds. I also informed the employee what breed my dog was because ANYONE with a "pit like dog" understands that these dogs are discriminated against constantly, so I don't bring her where she can't play with other dogs. I was told that the 1st day the dog needs to be assessed And it is based on the dog which is NOT. They have shown in the reply below that it is discrimination against certain breeds. My statement stands, This is a 🚩 for anybody with the sort of dog! Your dog IS good enough to be boarded here but not good enough to play in group play with other dogs no Matter if Your Dog is friendly or does "wonderful" as they said my dog was! I'm JUST finding out in THEIR reply she was never a group played! A dog was "brought in" to play with her! 🤯 And they admit to knowing MY MAIN intention of her coming was to group play! There would be no issue if they were up front about these things. I simply would have never brought her there..This is why I gave them 2 stars. Horrible communication and Deceitfull...Sad...
From the minute I walked through the door to drop my kitties off I was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They showed me to the room (yes, an entire room, not just cages) my girls would be staying in and let me get them settled in. The room was amazing, complete with an entire wall of boxes for the girls to climb in and around. They even had their own TV! They took great care of my babies and the cost was reasonable. Gruene Barks and Rec will always be my first choice when I need to board my cats.
Such a great place for my rambunctious pup! He is a lot of energy and they do such a fantastic job keeping him having fun! I go out of my way to come here cause it’s worth it and I feel secure that my baby is safe and treated well. Archer loves it!
We have been to many different groomers, and these ladies have been the most accommodating of them all. We have also found ourselves in a difficult situation; our doggy hurt his leg, so we had to cancel his appointment. Once his leg was casted up, GBR allowed us to come in for a grooming LAST MINUTE and not only did a great job, but they also kept his leg dry since it was casted. We plan to only use these sweet ladies in the future. So thankful for this kind & hospitable business.
We have used Gruene Barks and Rec for grooming since we got our mini goldendoodle last summer. She is always happy when we drop off and pick up and they do a great a job! We waited too long before her most recent groom and they took their time and were able to make her look amazing in spite of us!
I've been taking our pups here for years. When I turn down their street my dogs lose it. They love coming to Barks and Rec. We travel for work quite a bit. There is no better feeling than knowing our fur babies are happy and healthy in our absence.
I have been a customer of Gruene Barks and Rec for more years than I can remember. The experience I have had there is first class. The owners and staff are always happy to see the dogs when they come in, and communicating with them for reservations is hassle free. They post pictures of their guests during play time and post them to social media, which gives customers a chance to see what they are up to while they are at boarding. 5/5 stars every time.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would! This is my first time at Fur Nanny, and upon arrival, I was welcomed with smiles and so much love towards my two pups. Taylor was so informative about what to expect during their grooming session. I have a very anxious golden, but felt very confident leaving him in the care of Taylor and her professional staff. Meagan was also kind enough to send me updates on my pups to let us know that they gave them breaks in between, so they wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. I could not have asked for a better experience and will highly recommend Fur Nanny Boarding & Spaw to anyone looking for a great grooming experience! We will be back. Also, they look & smell amazing!!!
Absolutely Professional Service with genuine care and concern for your fur family members. I took both of my dog's Booth and Korra for a Oatmeal bath/ nail trimming , and they came home smelling amazing with soft coats and nails trimmed just right. Taylor and Megan do amazing work and treat your family members with the utmost care while they are there. I will continue to bring my furry family members here for all their doggy grooming needs, and Highly recommend them to anyone else needing a place to bring their pups to. *Update : I continue to have excellent care for my furry family members here, Taylor and Cass are such wonderful people and love all the animals unconditionally. I gave my pups an Oatmeal bath today with a pumpkin spice scent for the fall and they came out looking and smelling like a million dollars, and they have fall festive attire that is adorable from the fur nanny too. We love love love the Fur Nanny. They are amazing. This is the only place that we trust with boarding our furry family members. They treat them like family They also do a spectacular job grooming. Our dogs smell good for weeks. So much better than the service you'll get from a big box store. Our dogs absolutely love Taylor.
We were denied daycare for our 90 lb American Akita, said she weighed too much? Seriously, do you accept great danes? i was happy to read this place is veteran owned, we are military retires & i thought veterans take care of their own as well? just saying, SMH, missing out on an awesome pup!
They take good care of my fur babies. I have 2 doodles and take them for grooming regularly. I like that they don't keep them in crates any longer than needed. They are also very fast so my pups don't get stressed. They look great when I pick them up.
Love this place! They truly care about each dog like their own. They are a smaller facility, but it's like dropping your dogs off with family. Everyone that works there is always kind and very positive as well. I Definitely recommend FurNanny for grooming, boarding, and spaw services. :)
I will probably never use another groomer again. I have full confidence that my pets are being cared for while they are there and they are safe. The quality of service is also amazing. Extremely satisfied with each visit.
I’ve never come across such a wonderful and welcoming team of people. They were super detailed with information about their services and practices, and they made me feel confident and comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Sunny Oaks Pet Resort is the only boarding facility I would consider leaving my Colt with. He loves it there! When he knows he’s going there he gets so excited and can’t wait to get into the car to go. They take very good care of him. They treat him like part of the family. I am so grateful for the care that they give him and the peace of mind I have leaving him when we have to be away. I highly recommend you give Sunny Oaks Pet Resort a try and you will see what I see.
Somewhat lengthy review here, but absolutely worth reading if you're considering boarding your dog here. We left our dog Oliver at Sunny Oaks for the first time and had a pretty mixed experience. For the most part, we liked the staff and felt comfortable leaving Oliver there while we went out of town (although I do wish we could have seen the actual kennels where he would be staying which we weren't allowed to do.) Oliver happily went with the staff when they took him back and we never heard about any problems while he was there. Normally we would be happy that we didn't receive any phone calls because that would mean there were no issues, but in this case it seems it would have been warranted. We had car troubles during the pickup time so I paid online and my father went to pick up Oliver while we were dealing with the car situation. The staff told my father there were no issues and that he played with other high-energy dogs the whole time he was there. We were happy to hear that because Oliver has a lot of energy and needs that kind of play time. When we got home with Oliver is when we started noticing a problem. Oliver was very sensitive to the touch and very morose. We initially chalked that up to him being tired from a long weekend of playing, but he didn't improve the next day and actually got worse. As the day went on we realized we needed to take him to the vet. Once the vet examined him, they told us it appeared Oliver had been pretty significantly roughed up by another dog. Out of caution and concern they shaved his back to take a closer look and we were mortified by what we saw. Oliver had what appeared to be several large claw marks across his back that were swollen and in some areas even bleeding. The vet seemed even more convinced that he had been pretty violently handled by another dog. The scratches on Oliver were so severe that they were already getting infected and causing a 104 degree fever to go along with it. Needless to say we were very upset learning this and won't be taking Oliver back to Sunny Oaks. It's very heart-wrenching to watch Oliver in pain right now and not be able to move. He only gets out of bed to go use the bathroom now and will be this way for at least the next several days while he recovers. Let me be clear: We understand that the staff can't control every single dog at the kennel and that sometimes accidents will happen or a dog may get defensive and lash out. If that happens, it's unfortunate, but we would be understanding about that. The part of this whole story that made us really mad was the fact that we were never told about this happening. That tells us that the staff either knowingly saw something happen and neglected to tell us, or the staff was not watching the dogs close enough while they were outside together and missed it. I'd love to be wrong about all of this, but the evidence is pretty clear that Oliver had a violent encounter with another dog and had to suffer for at least a day until we took him to the vet. Very disappointed and upset by this whole thing and as previously mentioned won't be returning. Oliver is a part of our family and leaving him under the care and supervision of someone else is a big deal to us. Caring for the dogs and watching them while we are gone is the entire job and it wasn't done at all in the way we expected.
The best boarding experience we have had in San Antonio. My pup stayed for 9 days and clearly loved her caregiver. I could see the enjoyment of being around her and looking for her attention. I love that they post photos from time to time. It is so good to see a smiling, happy pup picture when you are traveling. Booking and communication throughout is excellent and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. She came home happy, healthy and exhausted. I highly recommend them and will be back. We have now found our place.
We absolutely love Sunny Oaks! Our beloved Tyson has spent many days and nights there and gets so excited when walks back into the office. We can tell he gets all the love and attention he deserves and we especially love the added touch of being able to see him on the Instagram posts! The facilities are spotless and the grounds are beautiful. Plenty of room for dogs of all sizes to run and play. Prepare to have your pet not want to leave :)
Our dogs (4 over the years) love Sunny Oaks! Beautiful property & the name is perfect to describe the acreage. Great care is taken for the pups when they are there. They have even taken a couple of ours to the vet when necessary with great communication about the issue. We’ll be customers for life.
My dogs love going to Sunny Oaks. They now get excited when I pull up there. I am thankful I finally found a place I feel comfortable leaving my dogs at while I am away. They are very well taken care of and the staff is amazing. Thank y’all for taking great care of my babies!
Poppy had her first sleep over with her friends at Sunny Oaks Pet Resort. She loves coming there for playtime so a sleepover is stress free. I trust them fully to take good care of my girl. Thank you so much for allowing me to enjoy my time away!

Sunny Oaks Pet Resort is a wonderful, safe & amazing place to leave your pets taken care of. My pets love to run around and associate with all the animals and land. Most of all they are safe!
Went out of town for 5 days and was looking for a place to take my great dane. He's a gentle giant that likes other animals and not isolation. He does ok in the heat but needs breaks from constant heat as well and because he's larger he needs a bigger kennel space. This place has it all. Play time with other pups, large kennels with indoor and outdoor sections with ac on the indoor sections. They have a beautiful property with lots of room and trees for shade too. They gave me updates about my pup while I was away and I felt my dog was really taken care of. The place is under new ownership and they look passionate about the place. What a great place and I'm so glad I took my dog there. It felt like they treated him like part of their family.
