We had the best long weekend with Bernie and Charlotte! Sarah and Dan were brilliant—Dan welcomed me in person and went over all the details of the sit which was very helpful, and they were both very quick to respond with any questions we had. We loved taking Bernie for beach walks (the beach is about a 3-minute walk away!) and chilling with her on the sofa. Charlotte is one of the loveliest, calmest cats we’ve ever met and loved sitting in our laps for morning coffee. Portobello itself is lovely, with a distinct character and community but just a 30-minute bus ride from the city centre. Highly highly recommend this sit for active people who love the coast and pet cuddles. Thanks again :-)
Molly, Maisie and Luna are such lovely dogs. They all walk so well on the lead and are easy to take out all together. Maisie is full of energy and loves pets and playing fetch in the garden. I took her with me on long walks to explore which she loved! Molly is a very chill dog and so cuddly too. She loves to sit outside and relax. Luna is older and loves cuddling in under the covers. Kathy’s flat is really clean, comfortable and spacious. Her garden is great to sit out and enjoy the sun. The dogs love to chill inside and outside too. It’s not far from the sea bus and close to so many shops and amenities!! I’d recommend this sit to anyone!!
I loved staying at Theresa and her husbands beautiful house and taking care of lovely, little Abbeyroad. She is a very fun, playful and loves to snuggle. Theresa and Chuck were super accommodating, picked me up from the train station and took me to the local farmers market and back before they left on their trip. The communication with Theresa before and throughout the sit was very good. I was able to use a bike which was very helpful since I was without a car. I had a great and relaxing time!
I can't believe I forgot to leave feedback for Rod & Katy! We house sat for them and their 2 sweet doggies and love every moment. Rod & Katy were quite busy preparing for their trip yet still sat down to a nice dinner and visited with us for quite a while. Samson and Delilah were dreamy! Easy to be with, VERY obedient and just great dogs all around! The spare room, living space and pool were super lovely, comfortable and really the perfect homey setting. We would recommend this house sit to anyone.
I loved this sit! I had a wonderful time staying in Lewisville. The home is beautiful and well equipped. I had my own private living quarters downstairs that included a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a full bathroom, and a comfortable sitting room with a huge tv. I was left with a great instruction manual, as well as so much useful information about places to visit in the area. The kitties were very easy to care for and so sweet. If I had to describe this sit in one word - it would be PEACEFUL. I feel like family now! I would definitely do this sit again!
