A beautiful house and gardens. Lovely, kind and generous people. Unfortunately their dog Troy died a week before we were due to look after him, but we were still welcomed to look after the house.
I defy anyone not to fall in love with Birdie. A fun, energetic and loving little pup who was a delight to care for over the Christmas holiday. Sarah and Alex were very welcoming and their home is very cosy and comfortable with everything you need to have a great stay. For us it was ideal as it was close to my daughter's home allowing us to meet up with her and her partner a couple of times but not stay over in their small one bed flat. Sarah and Alex were happy for us to take Birdie along on visits and she had a ball getting lots of fuss. However if you want to see the sights it is a quick journey on the Tube into Central London so is very convenient for everything you might want to access in the city. There are also plenty of lovely walks in the area - parks, canalside paths and the forest so plenty to keep an energetic dog happy!
Ola is such a lovely person to connect with in LA! Her apartment is spacious and nestled in a really beautiful community in Los Feliz. I came in a day before the sit, and she even offered me a spot on her couch if I needed it. She made me feel comfortable and right at home! The cats are sweet, curious, and low maintenance. They spent a lot of time entertaining themselves. Thanks so much for the hospitality, Ola!
We were absolutely blessed to sit for Janelle and Graham with their handsome pup Banjo. Their amazing home is positioned close to restaurants, transport and is a stones throw from the beach. If you have the chance to house sit here you will most likely feel as lucky as we did. With a high degree of openness and communication, Janelle and Graham helped us feel comfortable and at ease, we could not recommend them more.
Staying Julianna's house was a pleasure! Julianna and Colin were easygoing, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. It was so fun getting to know Tobiko and Icarus - they have such entertaining personalities! And the quails were so interesting to watch and easy to care for. The house is clean and cozy, as well as conveniently located so it was fairly easy for us to get around by car or Uber. We would definitely recommend this sit!
