Mary looked after Shiva and Kali for a week and was everything we hoped for; plus, the cats loved her! She was helpful before she came, communicative while we were away and left the house (and cats) spotless for our return. Our two Burmese are demanding customers and report that they would love to see Mary again. Just purrfect; thank you Mary.

It was a real pleasure to have John house-sit for us for a week over Christmas. He was completely undaunted by our collection of dogs, cats and chickens and we were able to leave everything in his very capable hands and enjoy our holiday. We returned to a spotlessly clean and tidy house and happy animals (thank you John!).

Matthew and his family were very kind and considerate house guests. They looked after the house and animals very well and posted lovely photos ( professional almost) whilst we were away. The girls were very attentive to the animals and caused no noticeable destruction ( something my youngest daughter was worried about). There were a few hiccups ( Aga went out), but they took this with good grace, negotiated the slightly complicated hot water system and were receptive to the Aga man coming a few days later. The little gestures count like the thank you plant, and tidy house on return. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as future Housesitters.

Lucy

From our first video call we felt Lucy would be easy to communicate with, flexible, able to take our situation/requirements on board without issue, and someone we could trust. These initial feelings were reinforced once we met and during her sit. We agreed she should come a couple of days before we departed so we could show her round the neighbourhood and explain the details of the house and pets. We left confident that our house and pets would be well looked after, and this definitely proved the case. Unfortunately Lucy developed a cold on arrival and was certainly under the weather initially though she did not let this interfere. Lucy did a great job of looking after Jake and our new cat Simba, demonstrating a great love and care for them, soon winning the affection and confidence of both. Simba,being in part feral, has always been vary wary of any strangers and immediately disappears as soon as anyone calls round, but even before we left Lucy had gained his trust. We also lent Lucy our L200 truck, having put her on the insurance, and this was also well looked after. Lucy did encounter some issues with the internet and other minor problems, but via phone calls Lucy was able to explain the problem and I to provide a solution which Lucy had the technical ability to understand and thus resolve the issues. She kept in regular contact with frequent photos/videos of what the pets were up to and did a good job of looking after the house, even sweeping up the copious amounts of leaves that had fallen. It was a pleasure to have her stay, we wish her all the best in her future travels, and hope she will come and sit again sometime in the future. We have no hesitation in recommending her.

Sally looked after our cat (Otis) for 2 weeks. She was very organised, flexible and thorough. Although everything went smoothly, we felt confident that Sally would have been able to deal with any issues that may have arisen. She has a caring and sensible approach and Otis clearly loved being with her. We have booked Sally for another sit later in the year and will be looking forward to going away knowing that our cat and our home will be in good hands.

Louise and her son Ben were absolutely wonderful sitters! It was really great to meet them. Callie was instantly comfortable with them, which in turn made us feel very comfortable leaving her, knowing she was going to have a great time! We had excellent communicate before and during the sit - Louise sent photos and updates while we were away. It was great to know Callie was happy and having the best time. They left the house in a perfect condition, which was great. We really cannot recommend Louise enough - we feel very grateful and lucky to have met her and thankful her and Ben gave Callie such a wonderful weekend! Thank you so much! We’d love if she came back to do another sit for us!

Hope and Julian were wonderful pet/house sitters.  Lola immediately bonded with Hope but has been apprehensive around men.  Very early in the sit I got a photo of Lola trying to climb onto Julian's lap! Now that is a dog person!  
The house was cleaner than when I left.

I had an amazing time staying at Sally's! Her three four-legged family members were such a pleasure to spend time with. Creed is the sweetest boy. He was easy to win over with some head scratches and pets. He's a steady, unflappable man who just loves hanging out. His little sister Spirit loves nothing more than playing fetch with her green balls. She takes her time warming up to new people, but with a little patience she will be your best friend in no time. Last but CERTAINLY not least, King Cato will keep you endlessly entertained with his sassy cattitude. His favorite activities are napping in his box and chasing his laser toy. Sally's home is a beautiful place to stay. Her gardens are amazing and you're in a nice quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything Eugene and Springfield have to offer. Sally left really detailed instructions for everything and made sure I had everything I needed. She was even kind enough to let my mom stay for the first week while she was out visiting me. If you have the chance to stay with Creed, Spirit, and Cato, do it! I highly recommend this stay to all future sitters.

Penny

We arrived a few days early and Penny and Jim drove us around Sequim, hitting many of the highlights of things to do and see, and there is a lot. Their cat Brady was a total sweetheart not to mention extremely good looking. He didn't pay us much attention until they left, then he was our best friend, super easy to take care of, and loved to be pet and groomed. Deer frequent their yard, and there's an impressive variety of birds and hummingbirds by the score at their respective feeders. The hummers are so numerous and aggressive that, after refilling their feeder, they were flying around our heads and landing on the feeder before we could get it hung up. Way cool!

The house is beautiful and comfortable, and Penny and Jim could not have been more warm and welcoming hosts, offering us whatever food they had in the house. They provided lots of maps and other info and even introduced us to some of their friends. Now we have several new friends! Their location is wooded and spectacular with a view towards Sequim, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and to Canada beyond is spectacular.

The Olympic National Park is a must see with numerous waterfalls with every level of trails getting to them. We stuck with the easy to moderate ones like Marymere at Lake Crescent. Dungeness Spit is nearby and fabulous and we even made it to as far as Cape Flattery, Rialto Beach and the Hoh Rain Forest, and that was just to the west.

Penny and Jim are delightful people and we would take care of their home and Brady again with no hesitation.

We absolutely loved our housesit with Elvis! He's a beautiful cat with a loving nature. He was a real pleasure to look after (not that he needs much!)

Hayley was amazing, super accomodating and kind with great communication.

The house is gorgeous too, very spacious and stylish in a brilliant central location.

I really enjoyed my stay at Margarita and Penio's flat with Anton, Leo and the fish 🥰 Margarita and Penio were very friendly and incredibly welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed for the sit. I also had plenty of information about the cats and they were quick to respond when I had any questions.

Anton and Leo were both lovely - Anton loves cuddles, Leo is more independent but will come to you from time to time for a small pet ❤️

Ella is a big sweetie, even if she is a little wary at the start you will end up with her on your lap all curled up.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Julia’s home with Squish. The area is close in proximity to so much and I felt very safe walking around the community in the evenings. Julia’s apartment was as described and had everything that I needed for my 2 week stay.

Julia was super easy to communicate with and very responsive even while traveling. She went above and beyond to make sure I would be comfortable in her space and was quick to answer any questions that I had.

Squish is such a sweet and well mannered pup. She’s slow to warm up, however she loves to play with other dogs at the park. She thrives on the social interaction, so she was the happiest and most responsive when we went to the park and on walks. Squish was used to having a pup companion, so the only thing I would have changed about my time with Squish is that I would have taken her to the park more often to play and socialize with the other dogs.
