I'm thrilled to have had Laura sit for us while we were on vacation out of state for a full month! As you can imagine leaving ones home, pets and personal belongings for a large period of time is something that can be stressful if not left in the right hands. Laura was an easy set and forget (slow cooker reference) sitter. We were able to be present where we were and not worried about what was going on back home. The sit went smoothly and when anything was needed Laura was good with communication. We came home to happy cats and a clean home which was greatly appreciated! We would definitely love to have Laura back to sit for us again.
Great sit, lots of interesting books too. Bella, Lucy and Lily settled easily with us and the house was comfy and like a home from home.
This was our first pet sit and it was definitely one of the best travel/pet experiences we could have asked for. Lucy is a such sweet, calm, well-behaved dog. She was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Jessica and Ian were gracious and welcoming and we felt at home right away. We would love the opportunity to house/pet sit for them again and highly recommend this host.
Upon entering the forested driveway, we were cheerfully met by two effervescent corgis, Phoebe and Oberon and smiling Cynthia. We were led into the house where Dan amicably greeted us and introduced us to the feline patriarch of the home Elwood. Cynthia and Dan prepared for us a delicious meal. After which we went over the specifics of the pets daily regimen and were shown around the cozy home and incredible tree house, where we slept very comfortably the first night. We enjoyed their beautiful home, hot tub and fireplace whilst Elwood climbed all over us, deciding which lap was the most comfortable. During the days, Oberon and Phoebe enjoyed walks on the beach and along the local trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their home. Cynthia and Dan are generous, organized and thoughtful and we would recommend this housesit to anyone and hope to sit for them again in the future.
Couldn't have wished for a better sit - Mike and Melissa were kind, thoughtful, and clear about what they were looking for with Mylee. She was a total gem of a dog to house sit, she didn't fuss about any timings, was happy to eat / wake up / walk when suited, and gave the best possible sofa snuggles. She was always ready to welcome you home with a cuddle, and just wanted to join you whenever you're on the couch. Mike and Melissa had spoken to us about Mylee's newfound nervousness around other dogs, as the family have just welcomed a little one and she's more protective. They gave clear guidance on how she behaves and I felt totally comfy and confident with this. Their house was such a treat to stay in, perfectly located just outside of Downtown, there's hiking routes abound from the doorstep and all of the sea to sky accessible from the highway.
Susan and David are top notch hosts! Their home, yard and sweet dog, Callie, are meticulously cared for. Callie was such a joy to be with; so smart, happy and healthy! Ashland is such a fun community with so much to explore. It was truly an honor and privilege to have been selected to sit for them. Callie is forever in my heart. 💝. Thank you 🙏🏼.
What a great sit! We had a truly wonderful time with Firu and Dori. We bonded straight away. Firu is an amazingly sweet old man with lots of life left in him. Dori is younger with a forever puppy spirit, she definitely keeps him on his toes! They were the best tour guides, we roamed parks, summited large hills and traversed all over the city. They are GREAT city dogs, and generally low maintenance. A perfect combo. :) Ylenia was so good with communication from the beginning to end. We were in touch the whole time via WhatsApp. She met us the night before she left town and set us up in her quaint and tidy apartment. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We are already missing our sweet Firu and Dori.
