Nancy was nothing short of a pleasure to have in our home and to watch our two pups. She was very professional, prompt, and warm in communication from the start. At the beginning of the sit, she loved on Ace & Elvis immediately giving them time to warm up to her before we headed out. She sent us photo update of the boys, letting us know they were well care for during our travels. She even went above and beyond to bring us some holiday cookies and made sure we were on the road and headed home before she left the boys. We would highly recommend Nancy to anyone! We felt so at ease leaving our pets with her! Nancy, you are welcome back any time!
Amelie and Dalie are wonderful and made me feel so comfortable in their beautiful home! Their animals all have sweet personalities. Lionnel always made me smile and is so playful. I enjoyed exploring their beautiful property and having some nice quiet time. They provided me with easy instructions and I found everything to be very clear and easy to follow. Their neighbours are super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend spending time here if you have the chance :)
Beyond grateful for having been able to sit for Julie! I had the most amazing time looking after Rosie and Dolly, two little pups who are not only absolutely adorable, but also incredibly loving, easygoing, well behaved and very affectionate. Will miss both dearly, but will always look back at my time caring for them with lots of fondness! Julie herself has also been wonderful, communicating with her always went really smoothly and throughout my sit, she’s continuously been very accommodating to me. Getting to spend time in her beautiful home was yet again a true blessing! Highly recommend sitting for Julie and getting to love her little darlings to anyone who’s looking for a truly lovely sit! I was accepted for two sits, and Nienke was kind enough to let me stay in the guest room in between the two dates. This gave us the opportunity to get to know each other, and I learned a lot more about Stella & Bear this way too! They are the perfect mix of outgoing and cuddly dogs. I walked them all over Amsterdam including Beatrix Park, Albert Cuyp Market (must-do!) and into the city centre. They do require your full attention while on walks, as they are quite strong and not the most social dogs. Nienke's home had everything you needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to a lovely outdoor garden where you can relax with Stella & Bear. She was very responsive and accommodating. Oliver is super cute. He looks and feels to be much younger than he is. I felt very warm-hearted with him, he wanted to lay down on the sofa with me and sleep in my bed every night, we also enjoyed our daily walks. Barbara and her husband are very kind and sweet people, I was happy to spend some time with them aswell. They have long experience for using TrustedHousesitters. Their home is comfy and I enjoyed a lot my stay as I was able to explore swimming pool, biking, walking paths and sightseeing in the area.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Michelle's place with her personable, laidback, and affectionate felines, Mishka and Stu. I was expecting Mishka to be shy at first, but he warmed up to me the moment I walked in the door. Every morning I woke up with him curled up under various parts of my body, which was very sweet. Stu loved to snuggle with me on the couch, and was also playful. Michelle was a pleasure to communicate with, and her apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great neighborhood. You won't be disappointed with this sit.
