I had the most wonderful time in Wadhurst with Suki and Moo! Two very affectionate, sweet animals. The town itself is so lovely (one of those nice places that is small enough that everyone smiles at each other in the the street) and has everything you need. Lots of lovely walks around. The house is lovely and homely and full of light and has all you need. Janey was really easy to communicate with and kind and was always there to answer any questions I had. I already miss so much being there with Suki and Moo, its the perfect sit for proper animal lovers! (Particularly as Suki likes to follow you everywhere!)
This was a wonderful house and pet sit. Michael and Janie were so very welcoming to us before they left, asking us to dine with them the first night. We were told how to use the AGA stove, and it proved to be a great way to cook. WE were given excellent information about the home, the dog, and the chickens. We had a lovely house and garden to enjoy, excellent communication with Michael and Janie while they were away, and we were even introduced to their wonderful neighbors. This is a highly recommended sit.
I absolutely loved this sit! Rebecca's home was comfortable, clean and inviting and Wes was one of my favorite dogs I've been able to care for while on Trusted Housesitters. He was well behaved, well trained affectionate and I was genuinely sad to say goodbye! Becca was a great communicator and I felt like I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay as well as some great recommendations to explore the area. I even got to spend a morning with her and her two sons the day I departed and it was a fantastic way to end the sit. I'd highly recommend this sit to anyone looking to visit the Madison area, and would be excited to return to this lovely family if I have the chance in the future!
This was a wonderful house sit. Gillian and her husband mark were wonderful people and so very kind and caring .Right from the start Gillian had great communication right until the end of the sit. Gillian and marks home was family friendly, warm, welcoming and well set up. Gillian and mark are brilliant hosts. Me and my daughters liked exploring the local area with rhubarb. The local area was very beautiful and well set up. Rhubarb was a very loving dog, strong willed and very strong but so sweet. We loved sitting on the lounge chair with rhubarb giving her pat and cuddles. It was very easy to get attach to rhubarb because of her personality. Me and my daughters would not hesitate to come back and take care of rhubarb if we were able to. We all would highly recommend this sit to anyone.
It was such a pleasure to meet Judy and her family, very warm and welcoming. It would be hard to find a more idyllic setting with such easy going pets. Dear, sweet Susie and Oscar, and of course the hens were a dream to look after. Walking through the woods was a treat, especially as we were being stalked by deer! Birdwatching from the kitchen window became an obsession. The house and grounds are incredible, very clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend this experience and would be back in a heartbeat. Rebecca is a very responsible cat sitter. We’ve had her come feed our cat while we’re away during several trips we’ve taken recently. She comes in person a week before we leave to confirm when we want her to come, to get keys to our apartment, and to review any special needs. She’s great at communicating with us via text messages. Each time she visits she sends us a detailed summary of how our cat is doing, and includes photos and videos of our cat. We appreciate how she doesn’t just feed our cat, she plays with them, and even cleans their litter box! She makes us feel a lot better about leaving our cat alone when we’re travelling. Also Rebecca’s prices are very reasonable.

Rebecca is great! I’ve booked her twice now to catsit and it’s been a positive experience each time. Rebecca was the Best sitter my cat ever had! For once, Kobe did not give me attitude when I got back because he enjoyed her company so much. I was very nervous leaving my fur babies Bill and Snowflake to a stranger. My best friend’s son went off to College and I had no back-up for the kitties. Esther and Udi are the best!!! I recently adopted Lily and was nervous about how she would react to going to doggy day care after being returned twice to a shelter :( I work a lot and I feel at ease knowing that Lily is well taken care of and that she is spending the time that I’m at work with all of her friends. Lily is always happy to see them during drop off! Esther is great at communicating and she always sends me pics of my crazy girl. Pet getaway is the best!! They have also taken care of Lily when I’ve been out of town and knowing she’s in good hands is the best feeling. So thankful to have them in my area.
What a true gift Esther and Udi are! I had to leave my 2 dogs, Max and Clyde, at their first ever boarding experience for one week and The Pet Getaway made it such a smooth experience. I cannot sing their praises enough- I am beyond thrilled with the care and attention (and love!) our dog Marty revived during his week-long stay. Esther and Udi, are so amazing with our dog Dougie. He’s always so happy to see them and comes home so happy and exhausted when he’s there. They’re so attentive and always send hilarious videos and pictures of Dougie. He has stayed for the afternoon and/or evening and also for several days when we’ve gone out of town. It’s so great that I just know he’s in wonderful hands when he’s there, which makes being on vacation so much more relaxing.

The Pet Getaway is the best place to leave your dog in Brooklyn. They take phenomenal care of your dog, and are a much better option than a big kennel. Your dog receives genuine care- is not in a cage, and receives frequent walks and playtime. I couldn’t be happier with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their dog while away. They even send you regular photo updates while you’re away which always puts you at ease. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for them as a frequent traveler. I feel like my dog Ollie is getting a vacation of his own.
About a year ago, our old dog sitter cancelled last minute and Esther came to the rescue! On first meeting, Scout was immediately comfortable (maybe too comfortable lol). Since then, we trust Esther every time we need someone to watch him. She treats Scout like her own and he is so happy to see her every time we drop him off! Would recommend to anyone.
Vito LOVES going to day care and as a puppy I think it’s been really good for his social development. Having hired random people off rover.com I can say that Esther and Ari are the only people I’ve actually felt 100% ok leaving Vito with. They send great update photos throughout the day and Vito always rushes to greet them when I drop him off so I know he loves it.
I can't say enough good things about Jordan's Pet care and how well they take care of my pup Gumbo. From the start, they have been super responsive, patient, and kind with a first time puppy mom, and I'm grateful. Nellie’s treated so well on her walks with Parker. They go above and beyond to make my puppy feel loved and cared for. They don’t just walk my little girl, but also plays with, cleans after and refills food/water. The system for scheduling is very straightforward.

I highly recommend Erica's Dog Sitting services. She took care of my two boy on several occasions and was great with them. Erica is very knowledgeable about dogs and cares for them as if they were her own. I love the fact that even before she agreed to take them in, there's a vetting session in which she gets to see first hand how your dog will act in her environment and you get to see her in action and ask questions too. My two boy absolutely love her and I won't go anywhere else. Her rates are very reasonable and for my long stays, she even includes a wash... What else could you ask for ❤️
Erica has been for us like a second mom to our Lara. She and her husband have taken care of our baby for the last two years, each time we leave town. Lara goes happily and cheerfully to he home and when we pick her up she has a “hard” time to choose to stay or go with us. We use Erica also for day sitting every so often to have Lara socialize with other dogs and she always goes and returns happy. We have no words to thank Erica for taking such a good care of Lara.
We left our boy Boomer with Erica for a week, and it was unbelievable. Boomer had such a great time, with lots of space to place and hangout. He was taken great care of by Erica. I would highly recommend anyone needing a dog sitter to reach out to Erica! We will certainly be bringing Bomer back next time we go away.
Traveling was always a stressful experience for me because I worried about my dogs constantly. Since I met Erica that’s no longer the case. I left my anxious 10 year old Pittie in her care and it was a wonderful experience. Sasha was able to socialize with other dogs and looked completely at home. Erica has a large house with a backyard and is steps from the beach. My dog had an amazing experience. I would never leave her anywhere else. Thank you Erica!
Erica is fantastic with her pups and very conscientious. We recently moved to the area and were nervous to find someone we felt comfortable with for our pup. He’s been to her house twice now and loves it. She has a great green yard for the dogs to play. She also has many comfortable areas in her home for the dogs to rest. She sends many photos and communicated consistently while we were away. I highly recommend her!

I never have a single doubt about my dogs' safety or her ability to handle any situation that may occur. I've been using her for years, started off with my first dog and then added a second. I left them for three weeks with her during my wedding and honeymoon and the peace of mind I had knowing they were not only safe but having an absolute blast was invaluable. Erika is a life saver. She is professional, helpful, compassionate, and genuinely loves my dog like her own. I travel for work sometimes and need additional walks last minute and Ilana always does her best to accommodate. Should be able to give more stars to this place.
I've been using Park Slope Pups for almost two years now and have had a great experience. My dog loves her walker, Alf, and I do too ! He couldn't be sweeter with her, he's super professional and caring. Can't say enough good things!

I’ve been taking my dog Jules to Park Slope Pups for over a year now and it’s been an excellent experience. Ilana is very warm and professional and it’s clear that she cares deeply about the dogs she watches. She is also very accommodating to my schedule, which can be a bit irregular at times. And best of all, Jules is a happy tired dog when he gets home!
I absolutely LOVE Park Slope Pups, and could not recommend a better boarding/walking service in Park Slope (or anywhere!). The team is responsive, responsible, and trustworthy, and my pup absolutely adores them. They are extremely organized, and are very reasonable if a last minute request comes in. Some of their walkers even do paintings of your pup, which are incredible! I got so lucky finding this wonderful team, and could not say more nice things. Thanks Park Slope Pups for easing my mind when I can't be with Stevie!
The team at Park Slope Pups has been great to work with! We've been using Park Slope Pups since our puppy was around 7 months old and every employee has been so great with him. He's generally a bit scared of being away from us at first, but with the PSP team he seems right at home. They're great at accommodating both long term and last-minute requests, excellent communication and all around great service. Highly recommend!

We've had such a nice experience with Park Slope Pups and our main guy, our puppy's regular dog walker, Alf! He's so sweet with her. It really puts a crazy dog mum like me at ease knowing she's being so well cared for and so excited to see Alf everyday.

Our dogs, Sally and Silvio, are our everything. When it came to dog sitting we typically would only feel comfortable having family watch them, sometimes even flying family in but that isn’t always possible. So when we were looking for a dog sitting service it had to be someone we felt really comfortable with. We cannot recommend Park Slope Pups enough. They take care of our dogs as if they were their own.
Prospect Bark is awesome!! If you love your dog you won’t board them anywhere else! I have searched many dog boarding places in Park Slope, and Prospect Bark is the absolute best by far! Chun-Soon and her daughter, Tina, Sheila and the whole staff! Outstanding! Where else does you dog get read bed time stories!! They always take the absolute best care of my dog when she is there. Best doggie daycare, boarding, sitting and walking in Brooklyn! My wife and I have been using ProspectBArk! since our dog (now 8 years) was 3 months old. We've done daily walking (for several years before covid), in-home sitting, daycare while we moved, and most recently an 8-day staycation at their daycare/boarding facility while we were in Japan. They have never let us down and always do an amazing job – really setting our minds at ease when we have to be away from our sweet doggie. They provide plenty of photo updates, respond quickly, and the facility is absolutely top notch. Clean, comfortable, and run by people who truly love animals.
Where do I begin with Prospect Bark and how incredibly amazing they are. Staff: the owner of Prospect Bark and her team are beyond the best. They love all of the dogs as if they were their own. They provide individual time, attention and love to every dog. They are so attentive from managing diets and allergies and any medicine to play time, etc. they send us videos and photos all day that are just the best. Environment: I would like to stay for a day at Prospect Bark it is so calming and relaxing. They have high ceilings, calming music, clean - very clear they are constantly cleaning because it smells lovely - and they have beds and toys for all dog sizes - including heated blankets in their front window during the winter and a big play space and pools in their yard. Boarding: our dog loves boarding at Prospect Bark. Their lower level is a combo of Murphy beds for free sleeping dogs and crates for dogs who need crate sleeping. They have staff who sat over with the dogs which is just the best. Care: everything from little personal hand-drawn pics of the dogs on the walls to “pupsicles” in the summer to Thanksgiving dinner and a holiday photo shoot, Prospect Bark is beyond like family to us and our dog. We love them and everything they do and have recommended them to many. They are exceptional! Beyond highly recommend!!
Wish I could give ProspectBark more than 5 stars! They are absolutely the best! Our dog Lola absolutely loves coming here for daycare and overnights. You can tell how much the staff truly cares about all of the dogs that come here. We get the cutest photos and videos throughout the day (they send so many throughout the day, and you can tell how much fun all of the dogs are having) so we never have to wonder how she is doing & they always make us smile. They set up pools for the dogs during the Summer, organize different activities, and make healthy treats for the dogs too. The space is also extremely clean! This is truly such an incredible place and we always trust them to watch our dog Lola - she really has a BLAST here! I can't recommend ProspectBark enough!

From the early days of the business when they walked our bulldog puppy to the their sensitive and meticulous care for her late in life - this team loves animals and makes it their mission to provide amazing services. We now have two new puppies and two cats. ProspectBARK provide excellent in home and day care services for all of our animals. My dog and I LOVE ProspectBArk. I have never trusted a place more with my fur baby. I know she is in good hands, getting taken care of and having fun! The staff is super friendly and communicative. I love that I get picture and video updates throughout the day. And they even make homemade snacks for the pups. Can’t recommend this place enough!!
ProspectBark is an incredible dog daycare. The staff is caring and competent. My wife and I leave our little baby Granger in their hands and know he’ll be loved and taken care of. I could not highly rec this business more. The staff is really wonderful. One specific highlight is the staff’s constant communication via photos and video which helps my wife and I feel even more comfortable when we are away knowing our precious baby is in living hands.
ProspectBArk goes above and beyond for pets and their humans! They have been kitty sitting for us for years when we go on vacation, and we have only ever had positive experiences. Sitters are always professional, communicative, and provide lots of updates and pictures. Our cat, Frasier, was recently diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, so we were nervous about leaving him alone when we had to go out of town. When we entered new care instructions into the portal, the owner was kind enough to call and collaborate on a special care plan for him. She even delivered a cat water fountain to our home to make sure Frasier didn't get dehydrated! We were so touched by the kindness and our sitter, Doug, was clearly mindful of our anxiety and made sure to give us the best updates. We feel really lucky to have the staff at ProspectBArk in Frasier's corner (and ours!).
I have used ProspectBArk's cat sitting service since 2016 whenever we go away on vacation or business trips and I've had nothing but excellent experiences! The sitters are trustworthy, kind, professional, and passionate about caring for my two cats, Poppy and Bandit. And, on top of this great care, we also get lots of cute photos and videos of the cats while we're on vacation. In particular, I want to shout out Jennifer Bernstein, our sitter of several years, for her incredible and attentive care. Our cats love her!

Mende is reliable, loving, and understanding. She has been walking my dog Max for about a year now and I can always trust her to be communicative, show up consistently, make sure that Max is safe, and show him love as if he is her own. I love receiving pictures and updates from her on their walks, and she’s flexible if timing needs to be changed or if there’s a special request (like to feed him after his walk). I love that I have someone I can trust to care for Max when I’m at work during the day so I don’t have to worry. Mende has also watched Max overnight once as well, which was great experience.

I always get a little nervous when leaving my fuzzy buddy behind, as I'm sure anyone does. Mendé really helped ease that anxiety by keeping up regular communication and even videos and pictures! They immediately knew all the things they'd need to make sure my Cashew was totally taken care of while I was away. Clearly experienced, and obviously cares. Mende is great! She has taken care of our dog, Wrigley, several times; she is communicative and easy to get in touch with. As hard evidence: My wife and I got married in Prospect Park, and entrusted Mende to bring Wrigley over for post-wedding photos.
Mende is an excellent dog walker and my dog, Frankie loves his walks with her! She is very responsive to requests for walks, attentive to my dog’s needs, and most of all, super loving to him! She always sends a picture of a very happy puppy when they are on their walk!
I take my little princess Mia for grooming regularly to woof lovers. Mary and Andrea are amazing. She is very restless when having her hair cut and they treat her with so much love and patience. Affordable price too!
From the moment I spoke to mary she was delightful and polite. My family and I had a last minute trip and mary was able to accommodate us with same day. My puppy lou is quite the handful and she had only good words about him. Also gave us updates and lots of pictures of him. He was very happy and well taken care of. We will most definitely be using woof lovers again.

A good company, they speak three languages: English, Russian and Spanish. They looked after my cat for 10 days, she was very pleased, there was constant monitoring, very attentive and caring guys, very loving animals. Highly recommend.
