Julian and Hope were the most incredible house and pet sitters!!! Cant speak highly enough about them! They arrived an hour or so before we had to travel and that gave us the perfect amount of time to introduce them to our dogs , show them our home and run through our welcome guide. We lent them our car whilst we are away and they were so kind to replace a faulty brake light which helped us out enormously also. The left out house so wonderfully clean and tidy with all the bedding and towels washed and everything sparkling! And they even left us a few provisions to get us started again ! Most importantly they took great care of Kipper and Poppy who seemed vey happy and content when we arrived home. They gave them daily walks and clearly looked after them so well. If there was a way of giving them an extra star then I would!!! Amazing sitters!
This was a great housesit! Their kitty, Misty, is so friendly and affectionate. She'd cuddle up and sit on my lap for a bit, and she was just as happy to go wandering in the yard or find a place to hang out for the day. The house is beautiful. It sits on the mountain, overlooking Blacksburg. I really enjoyed getting to know this area. There is so much history, beautiful hiking trails (with a lot of waterfalls), and mountains and rolling countryside all around. Dean and Lynn are wonderful people. I took care of their house for an entire month while they spent the winter in Ecuador. We had regular communication and they helped with anything that came up. I'd be happy to watch Misty and their home again.
What a pleasurable weekend we had with Mara, Sahara & Mercury (who we didn't need to do anything with due to the short sit) for our first sitting through THS. Communication with Deana & Tim was prompt and concise leading up to our sit and upon arrival they made us feel so welcome and at home during the couple of hours we had with them for the 'handover' before they left for their weekend away. They also left a comprehensive pack of information relating to everything from their furbabies to the house and lots of things to see and do whilst we were there. Their house is a beautiful & comfortable place to stay and Mara & Sahara are a joy to look after, so well trained and obedient. Communication on our last day was brilliant so we knew exactly when to expect Deana & Tim to return, it was great to see them again and also meet Rowan. We would be delighted to sit here again.
Rhian and I could very easily run out of superlatives when leaving feedback about our recent sit with Archie the most adorable working cocker spaniel. He is so well behaved both in and out of the house. He can be walked off lead( where appropriate)and is very sociable and non aggressive when meeting other dogs. Above all he is absolutely loveable and we formed a strong bond with him after only a few days. Our hosts Hilary and David were very warm and welcoming and had prepared a lovely home cooked meal for us on our arrival. They had written a very comprehensive welcome guide and ensured we wanted for nothing. Their home is a gorgeous historic manor house in stunning gardens and we feel very privileged to have been entrusted with its care. In summary a truly memorable sit for so many reasons . Charlie is a really charming old cat. We fit perfect together. I loved the place, see a lot in Plymouth and I will go there again next year, if it works. Good city, nice region, super nice cat and a feeling like to be at home. And Nicky was a really friendly person with good instructions. Highly recommended. 🤗
We had a wonderful time at Tim and Muff’s house with Tarka and Eric- what gorgeous, well-mannered dogs they are. Tim and Muff were very relaxed and welcoming, their house and garden are delightful and the area in which they live is very picturesque. We would definitely return if we were asked.
