Mary
I had the absolute pleasure of watching over these sweet dogs and bunny.

Firstly, Mary and her family are the nicest people, super friendly and generous. Communication was excellent before and during the sit. Whenever I had a question, they were quick to respond.

Instructions were perfectly clear, with both a house manual and a pet manual provided. I was able to meet with the family before they left and got a rundown of everything. Food was individually bagged and everything was labeled for each pet, which made everything extremely easy. Only Murphy required medication, which was also individually bagged and labeled for each day, and he had no problems taking it.

I absolutely fell in love with the boys, Murphy, Scooter, Hank, and Kipper. They were very well-behaved and easy to take care of. I loved all of their personalities. I would play fetch with them in the backyard, cuddle with them on the couch, and snuggle with them to sleep.

I also watched over Linus, the bunny, who is the softest little thing. Linus was easy to care for, requiring food once in the morning and changing of the litter box every other day.

I could not recommend this sit more. You will fall in love with the boys—I miss them already!

Nancy
We met Nancy and her two cats at her home. Nancy was extremely organized & able to fill us in quickly on all the things we needed to know about the home and pets. She had prepared a "Sitter Manual" with all the info. typed and easy to read in case we'd forgotten anything. We totally enjoyed staying at Nancy's home and her pets were a pleasure to care for. We recommend this sit and would repeat it ourselves.

We had a lovely time looking after Tutsi, and Claire is very kind and welcoming. We met them both before the sit a couple of times so by the time we were on our own with Tutsi we were well prepared.

Claire mentioned that Tutsi can be reactive but we didn't witness this much during our sit. Just the occasional jump if she is startled at home or a small growl if she doesn't like a dog sniffing her. Overall she is an independent wee lass who is happy doing her own thing, but also loves a cuddle on the couch in the evening.

Claire's home is in an ideal location with a beautiful park, a golf course, and Portobello Beach all within easy walking distance, as well as plenty of cafes and shops. Even though Claire misplaced her phone while she was away, we were well supported with a neighbour letting us know what had happened and another neighbour helping us with a spare key when we accidentally locked ourselves out!

Tutsi is a real sweetie who loves to play her own game of "golf" and even showed us the way to the golf course one morning when we decided to let her take charge of the walk.

We enjoyed chatting and getting to know Claire when she returned. Would be very happy to sit here again and we hope to see you again Claire and Tutsi! Thanks for having us!

A Whiskered Wonderland: With Noodles and Mochi, every day was a Caturday!

Let's rewind to a week ago when we walked into the apartment of Naiara and her boyfriend Maitham. We were greeted by a clean, cozy space situated in a location that would make real estate agents jealous - an ideal pad for us, urban explorers.
Naiara gracefully welcomed us into their space, introducing us to the real stars of the show, the "Catdashians" of the apartment, Mochi and Noodles! These two cats were playful, polite, and could easily outsmart a toddler.
Now, if you're a gastronomic explorer like us, Naiara is your culinary GPS. She led us to some fantastic local places. Each of her recommendations was a gastronomic bullseye, satisfying our foodie souls and earning our eternal gratitude.
Noodles, the more extroverted of the two, was a veritable attention magnet. He loved his petting sessions almost as much as he loved playtime. We joke that if we pointed a laser towards China, he'd be off in a flash, sprinting faster than Usain Bolt.
Mochi, on the other hand, is a bit more introverted. Our time with Mochi wasn't just a stay, it was a collection of 'meow-mentous' experiences that will stay with us forever. Mochi was the resident 'philosopurr,' always ready for a chat. His purrs were akin to comforting words of wisdom, making us wonder who needs a therapist when you have Mochi! By the way Mochi is considered the 'teenager' of the feline world. He's got the 'purrfect' routine down: he sneaks out of the house, has a rooftop party with the neighbours, and then strolls back in just in time for dinner and a quick "meow-nologue".
However, we quickly learned that Noodles was a bit of a food thief, often encroaching on Mochi's share. We had to keep a watchful eye to ensure fair food distribution.
Our feline friends also offered a complimentary wake-up call service, albeit at unpredictable hours. But hey, who needs an alarm when you have Mochi and Noodles orchestrating a midnight chase around the house? They were like feline ninjas, tiptoeing around until BAM! – they're racing through the hallway, making you wonder if they're reenacting a scene from 'Fast and Furry-ous’!
In short, Naiara, the gracious host and loving cat-mom, made our stay even more memorable. Her recommendations turned us into local food connoisseurs, and her warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
We're pretty sure that Noodles has some more global sprints planned for his future, and Mochi might just have a promising career in cat psychology! We would love to see them again and find out for ourselves.
So, if you're seeking a heartwarming homestay that offers more than just a roof and a bed, a place that showers you with love, laughter, and some delightful cats, this stay is the place to be.
It's a place where every 'meow' is a message of love, every purr a melody of comfort, and every moment a cherished memory ♥️

Madison
These 3 pups have such different personalities. Min Ah is a total girl boss. She let's the boys know it too lol. Kiyo is energetic, loving, and catches tennis balls like a major league player. Jack is super chill but when he wants attention he'll let you know. I love large breed dogs as much as the smaller ones and these 3 were really quite easy to care for. Don't let there size intimidate ya!

Madison and Jarod have a really nice home and the Halloween decorations were bomb! Madison was my go to and we communicated easily and effectively! Cool house sit 😎 👌
