Huzzah for Jess! She was a fabulous dog/house sitter for us. Tally and Laika (pups) say that she was the best, and that they had a very nice little staycation at home with a wonderful new friend. Jess was terrific with the dogs, and left the house looking better than what we left it. We are so grateful to Jess for her care, and to zeewoi for getting us together! Jess gets 5 stars from us, and we all hope she'll return (especially the dogs. They enjoyed their walks and treats!).
We had a great housesit! I think it would be fair to say it was perfect for everyone! Our first last minute request too! Thanks for being so flexible. Lily was great company and such a character! We enjoyed a peaceful stay with Lily and enjoyed walking her. She is always right by you but enjoys her space too, she’ll become your shadow! Thanks for everything and keep in touch!
Eileen and Will were very inviting, personable and had a clear welcome guide. They served us a lovely supper with wine and we had a great conversation about travels - they have been all over the world. Both dogs were sweet and easy to care for and go off leash for walks as there are extensive walking trails on their property (which also backs onto an enormous park). The horses loved to be groomed and appreciated the carrots and apples provided. Eileen and Wills’ house is gorgeous as are their gardens. A real pleasure to sit for them, Morgan and Ron.
Anthony and Claire are a kind and caring couple who made us feel right at home; they even left us a welcome treat for our short stay. As for our mammalian roommates, Hazel is such a loving and social creature—we immediately hit it off and explored all around the neighbourhood when we arrived. She’ll let you know when it’s time for a walk, food, or when she just wants to cuddle up on the couch or between the covers. Rufus, like many other aristo-Cats, is very dignified, and one of the largest feline brethren we’ve come across in SEA. If the treats are in ready supply, and he’s able to take extended balcony naps, you’ll be worthy of his company. We highly recommend this stay if you like to feel part of the family. We do hope our paths cross again in the future!
