It was a pleasure to take care of Monica's home and her two cats (Ellie and Lavender). Her home is light filled with eastern and southern exposures and views of the city and Cascade mountains. Located in an area of Seattle known as North Beacon Hill, it is a wonderful walking neighborhood where you can choose to hike up hills and staircases or more level terrain. It is also close to several bus lines that can take you to other locations in Seattle. Ellie is small and fluffy, and will be happy to be your lap warmer for hours on end. She LOVES under the chin rubs and will purr in appreciation. Lavender is quite shy but may make brief appearances -- a head popped around the doorway to quickly disappear. With time she will venture forth on her own schedule -- patience and quiet assurance will help. Monica provided a house sitters guide and checklist prior to the start of the sit. The instructions were clear and complete. She was available for any questions I had during my sit. I highly recommend Monica (and Ellie and Lavender).
What can I say ? Instant friendship and relaxed conversation... and that’s with our wonderful hosts AND the pets ! Absolutely loved this house sit. Instant bonding with Rufus and Bessie. Just gorgeous dogs, Rufus had me right around his little paw ! Iveta is a super host and her family are wonderful . Iveta had prepared the house and brought us Xmas presents. The house is a typical English cottage filled with charm and character. I can recommend this sit 100%
I had a great week looking after Coco in Exeter, Olly and Sadie were super chilled but gave me all the information I needed and were great with communication during my stay. Their flat is a lovely space and is in a great area of the city with everything you need close by and beautiful walks on the doorstep. Coco was wonderful company, very affectionate and well behaved, she also has lots of friends in the city so I had some lovely chats on our walks!
We thoroughly enjoyed our five days in Mount Hawke with Nancy, she is such a sweet, loving and very cuddly little dog. We built a strong bond with Nancy very soon and she was always with us on walks and outings, a welcome companion. Mount Hawke is a very friendly community with local stores and a cafe plus plenty of places to walk Nancy, in the village and further afield. Some gorgeous beaches a short drive away too. Andrew showed us around when we arrived and gave us a tour of their bungalow. We were very cosy there, it was warm, inviting and super comfy to curl up with Nancy in the conservatory. All in all a very enjoyable sit. Thank you for having us Louise and Andrew and Nancy too. We would be very happy to come back another time.
This was a great stay taking care of Beast and Wooty for Kari and Aaron. The pets are sweet, the house is hygge, and it's a super neighborhood for walking, within easy reach of public transit. Kari and Aaron were responsive via text when I had questions. Thanks for choosing me!
Wingnut warmed to us really quickly and was the loveliest cat !! Davina was super responsive with anything and we had a great stay! Would definitely sit again and will miss wingnut lots:)
