This experience was even better than the last time they sat for me. The communication about everything was terrific and they took terrific care of my 2 pups and cat. The house was much cleaner than when I left it.

Their attention to detail and accountability was so wonderful and helped immensely while I was dealing with a family emergency.

Highly recommend them!!!

What a lovely sit for Pat and John, a lovely welcoming couple who took us through the details before leaving.

The house is large and very comfy, as are the extensive gardens with many seating areas. A large paddock with beautiful views is where Dougie is walked, oh and Opal the cat comes too!
Unfortunately we had a water leak on the 2nd day but the owners son's live in the Village so the troops arrived quickly to sort it out. Which was a big relief.
The Star of the sit was Dougie who is a gentle giant and always has something in his mouth to give you, this includes your own shoes etc! He is a very sweet boy and Opal as most Felines joined in on day 3 after taking her time to check us out.
A lovely sit, we would certainly return if asked. Highly recommended

Absolutely wonderful time with Elli and Maverick. They are such sweet, friendly and lively pups. Elli is such a little cuddler and majestic Maverick is such a clown. We spent lots of time lounging on the dock and by the pool, but also had fun chasing toys. I was so happy that they slept with me and Elli often slid under the covers with me. They both took their morning meds easily.
We enjoyed our walks thru the small neighborhood.
The home is gorgeous and comfortable with a pool and dock overlooking the intercoastal. I enjoyed using their kayak and even though it's a double, it was easy to get in and out and maneuver in the waterway.
The area has lots to do with beautiful beaches, parks, shopping(especially thrift shops), dining, but I mostly stayed at the resort style home with the pups. I did go to the Venice farmer's market on Saturday and visited the Myakka Elephant Ranch, both of which I really enjoyed. Easy to do in the 4 hour home alone time window.
Sandy was very thorough with printed instructions which made the routine easy. She gave me a tour and info via video call and I had no trouble finding what I needed to care for the pups and home.
This is a very easygoing, comfortable and restful sit and give it my highest recommendation, but only if I'm not available!

Dog lovers should definitely look into staying at Anna's getaway in Van Nuys! Korben, Milla and Archer are such friendly, well-behaved dogs that show lots of love and affection. They are easy to care for and very responsive to commands. Anna was very communicative before and during the sit. She answered any questions I had and making sure the dogs had what they needed for the weekend. The backyard is a nice bonus too if you're looking for quality outdoor time.
