This was my first pet/house sit. Wonderful home and neighborhood. Gracious and communicative hosts and 2 terrific dogs. I'm sure anyone would enjoy meeting this family and helping to care for their home and dogs.
We can most definitely recommend a sit for Georgina. Lemon and Rocco are so adorable - Rocco is a loving, playful and warm dog who really loves his walks, cuddles and playing around. He really stole our hearts and loved spending time with him. Lemon is a beautiful bird easy to feed and loves his walks around the sunroom. Georgina is one of the best hosts we have ever met on the platform - she is such a genuine and warm soul, who were great to communicate and coordinate with and helped with everything she could. Her house is located near beautiful beaches, has the best coffee spot just around the corner and a big green area great for walks and runs. For shopping there is a DFO 5 minutes walk around. Also a short drive away from Mornington Pennsylvania.
I had a fabulous time in Jilly and Peter’s beautiful home in Easebourne looking after Bob the cat. Jilly and Peter were charming hosts and I enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the evening before they set off early the next morning. They provided a comprehensive Welcome Guide to the house with instructions for the appliances together with information on the area and local places of interest. Their house is lovely and spacious – equipped with everything you could possibly need. The guest bedroom was very comfortable, and the sunny dining room was a great place to set myself up with my laptop to work. I instantly bonded with the delightful Bob. He is a very friendly and loveable character - the chattiest cat I have ever met. He does like to make an entrance – at whatever time of the day or night - loudly announcing his arrival, telling you all about his adventures. He enjoys his food and lots of fuss and attention. I would heartily recommend this sit and would love to return should our dates align in the future.
Terri’s sit was lovely! Let me say Jack will steal your heart. He was the official greeter when I opened the door and would keep me company sitting in living room. Laney is the grand older lady but seems as young as the others and so sweet. Bella is the little one and Jill the least seen are such loves once they get to know you. They will all steal your heart. Terri was so welcoming and nice! She was always quick to respond to any questions. Her house was beautiful and clean. She is near several wonderful beaches and her neighbourhood was quiet. I would definitely recommend this sit.
Lola was a delight to look after and she was very well behaved. We met with Hailey & Simon before they had to leave and we were given good instructions on walking Lola and the house in general. Good communication always. An enjoyable sit.
Lisa and Rick are generous, friendly, and kind hosts who live in a peaceful and beautiful house with their adorable cats, Riley and Catmandu. Their cats are the sweetest and utterly adorable feline companions. While Catmandu initially displayed a touch of shyness during the first few hours, he quickly warmed up to us by the evening and was sitting on our laps, cuddling and joining our work Zoom meetings. On the other hand, Riley immediately accepted us as part of his family, right from the very moment we met him. This sweet, fluffy ball of fur was particularly fond of his food and cuddles, and their melodious meows felt like their way of expressing love for us, unconditional love. Both cats are affectionate and cuddly but also give you space while they take their naps during the day. Lisa and Rick's house felt like a true sanctuary, despite its proximity to our own home. It was reminiscent of a mountain resort, offering us the incredible views of the valley and the sight of hummingbirds sipping sweet nectar while making direct eye contact with us. The canyon view from their porch was nothing short of breathtaking. We cherished moments watching the sunset and stargazing from this very spot. Even the few rainy days were transformed into moments of utmost coziness, as we cuddled with the cats and watched as the canyon transformed into a magical place, shrouded in mist. Their house, with its fully equipped kitchen, home gym, and home cinema, was a remote worker's dream come true. Lisa and Rick even put stickers on all the kitchen cabinets so it made it easier for us to know where everything was (thank you for that!). We were also spoiled with opportunities for scenic hikes just minutes away from the house. What's more, Lisa welcomed us with a freshly baked apple crumble the morning we arrived, and it was absolutely delicious. Both Lisa and Rick radiate warmth and kindness, and it didn't take long for us to consider them not just as hosts but as friends. Their consistent communication throughout our stay, their readiness to answer any questions we had, and the delightful photos they shared from their own trip were all testaments to their wonderful hospitality. The beautiful garden on the property added to the overall charm. In a nutshell, we wholeheartedly recommend this petsit. It's an experience that combines not only the warmth of the hosts but also the beauty of the house, the serenity of the surroundings, and the incomparable companionship of Riley and Catmandu. Thank you, Lisa and Rick!
