We had a wonderful sit at Jerry & Maryann's. They are very kind, interesting and generous people who welcomed us warmly into their home. They greeted us the evening before their departure, with a wonderful meal that their daughter-in-law prepared and we all shared some lovely conversations. It was lovely to meet the whole family. Jerry’s extensive house manual is very clear and thorough and contains a wealth of information. Their home is very clean, well-organized, spacious and comfortable in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood. The area is close to DC and offers so many beautiful things to see and do! Parker and Morgan are the best and they are wonderful and easy to care for. We hope to be able to sit for Jerry & Maryann again as well as for their daughter and her partner in the future. We highly recommend a sit for Jerry and Mayann!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely house with beautiful gardens.we had a magnificent bedroom and Maggie the dog was just delightful. A wonderful community and so close to fabulous places. The family made us very welcome and were very generous.
We had such a great time watching Heather's animals and absolutely loved this housesit. We became very attached to all the critters. Cora, who we lovingly nicknamed "the little house elf" as she bares a striking resemblance to the Harry Potter character, Dobby (the house elf), was instantly such a great companion and so pure of heart, it broke ours to leave her. That is not to say the cats didn't also worm their way into our affections. Chester, a female rooftop-perching diva, was not too busy hazing her new housemate, Izzy, to show us some love. Likewise, Izzy came out of her shell to reveal her regal nature to us and warm up to us when Chester wasn't around to judge. The home was something out of a turn of the century fairty tale, nestled on a foggy hillside, but still close to town. We walked and hiked everywhere! Very comfortable home and generous hosts who made us feel welcome enough to enjoy all it had to offer. Although this house isn't close to my home, if we are available, it's a place i would gladly travel back to for a temporary repose anytime!
