Dog Sitters in Copetown

From the outset I was very confident that Mary & Ian were ideal sitters to cope with the nuances of my furry family of 3 ! As . We had chatted several times on Whatssap, and both had had cats as pets over many years, and a wealth of life experience living with cats!! As soon as they arrived Mary & Ian set about familiarising themselves with the apartment layout and then observing the foibles of Mau, Kitty& Toots., including the litter tray routine ( lol)….Marrying my outline Guide to the “real deal”, and I believe they, like my cats themselves , were not at all daunted at the prospect of being surrogate trusted “fur parents” for a week . All 3 furs vied for attention, and Kitty, although quite nervy,, took to sitting on Mary’s lap at every available opportunity …with Mau & Toots competing for attention… and their daily groomings too!!!, when they returned from their daily sojourn , exploring the area., they had the energy to care for and be entertained by the furs! Mary’s excellent forward planning ensured that they gave time to the furs on a morning before setting off…and again on an evening , Ensuring that the cats’ routine, especially feeding times ,was not disrupted and as all parties enjoyed waking fairly early?.? (lol) Mary & Ian had time to explore and enjoy visiting several highly recommended tourist attractions, they had researched. Ian was a gem and offered to sort out finishing laying down approx 400 kilos of Wood chip and off cuts based “soil” along the side of my drive, AND remove Garden garbage to the recycle area , down the road. So the outside was very tidy & orderly, on my return . Mary watered my pot plants on the calçada , AND Enjoyed fresh lemons & picking physalis berries( Chinese gooseberries) . All my flowering plants , young tomatoes , beetroot n onions were thriving on my return. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Kitty , Mau & Toots, my garden and my home. Everywhere was clean and tidy and in good order when I returned. The cats simply adored Mary , and the regular photo updates sent to me by Mary endorsed the fact that I had not been missed!! It was truly lovely to have you stay and look after M,K,T and get to know you a little. The “5 Star” rating for every aspect of their stay reflects Mary & Ian’s commitment to be genuine “zeewoi”, and importantly ensure that Mau, Kitty & Toots…. Were safe and cared for , during my absence…….. they simply Never missed me!! We all really enjoyed your company …Thank you sooooo very much. If you are ever blown off course in your world wide adventures and land in Portugal again….please look us up!,,,…you’ll always be Welcome.

I would highly recommend Siobhan! She gave amazing care to our 3 cats & our home. We had extenuating circumstances, in that, we had just moved in, 2 days prior to our holiday. So, even though the essentials had been unpacked, the house was in quite a bit of disarray. Siobhan didn’t mind. And, even handled some minor water intrusion into our basement during a bad storm. Siobhan is very capable & gave our kitties kind, loving care. They warmed up to her quickly. Even though they were feeling unsettled being in a new house. I would not hesitate to use her again. Thank you so much Siobhan!!!

So happy to have found Derrick & Donna for our pet sit! They were easy and quick to communicate with, kept the best care of our home, and gave our pups all the love and attention they required. 100% would recommend for any sit!

I cannot recommend Macy highly enough as a house sitter. She recently looked after my home and my cat, Oreo, and did an absolutely fantastic job. From the moment we met, Macy was professional, trustworthy, and incredibly attentive to every detail. Oreo is usually quite shy around new people, but Macy’s warm and gentle nature quickly won him over. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, so I always felt at ease knowing Oreo was in great hands. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him, going above and beyond to ensure he was happy and well-cared for while I was away. When I returned home, the house was spotless, and Oreo was relaxed and content. It was evident that Macy had taken great care of both my home and my beloved pet. Macy even left a gift and a card for me!! It’s such a relief to know that I can trust someone like Macy to take care of things when I’m not around. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible house sitter, Macy is the one to choose. I will definitely be booking her services again in the future!

Beata was just wonderful with the pets and left the house spotless. She very competently adjusted to new medical needs, a new feeding schedule and personalized care for each pet. She provided excellent communication and checked in as requested. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beata and have her sit again.

Although this was the first TH gig for Donna and Norm, they were total pros. They cared for our Oliver with care and attention, walking him every day at a local park, and sending us photos regularly. Home care was also excellent. In addition, they are a delightful couple and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them both before and after the sit. We sincerely would love to have them in our home again if the planets align in the future. We cannot recommend Donna and Norm more highly.

Lana and her son were really wonderful to host. They look great care of our house and pets and we were really able to enjoy our vacation knowing Lana had everything under control. Our pets seemed to have a great time with them and the house looked great and super clean when we got home. Highly recommend and would be happy to host them again.

Doreen and her sister Sheila took care of my two cats well I was away for 20 days. Doreen was easy to communicate with before and during the sit and we kept in touch via WhatsApp. When I returned the cats were calm and happy and my house was in order. I would be happy to have them back again.

And Diane were an absolute godsend and pleasure to have in my home! They were so communicative. My house is cleaner than I left it and my dogs clearly were loved and cared for! They sent me multiple pictures every single day, they maintained the same routine and care to the letter for my pups. I am so grateful for them!

Olivia stayed with our two dogs while we were away for a few days. Before the sit, she even came over to meet the dogs. She was so great with them, and I knew immediately we could trust her to take good care of them. She kept us updated while we were away, sending cute photos and letting us know how things were going. We returned home to a tidy place and two very content dogs. I would highly recommend Olivia if you’re looking for a thoughtful and responsible sitter.

Anne and Bill were super house sitters. We had to postpone our departure for a month for health reasons and they were very gracious and accommodating. Anne also stayed an extra few days when our departure was delayed due to cancelled flights. While we were away for 5 months Anne kept in close contact sending frequent pictures and videos of our cat. When we arrived home our cat was happy and healthy. Anne had even been able to patiently remove most of the matted balls on our cat’s belly. Anne and Bill took great care of our cat and of our condo. I would heartily recommend them as great Zeewoi.

Jackie & Fred were great house/pet sitters. Communication was spot on from the moment we selected them to take care of our house and Petal. Daily updates were greatly appreciated. We would have em back anytime.
