This sit was so fun. Bert is a sweet, cuddly and communicative dog. He likes to sit in his sunny patches and warm up throughout the day. If it gets cooler, he'll come snuggle next to you on the couch for hours. He doesn't use the dog door (he's too low to the ground for that) but he'll let you know when he has to go outside. He's great on a leash and likes to go on a sniff-and-walk around the neighborhood. Chloe is sweet and very food oriented. She'll watch you anytime you are in the kitchen :-) She doesn't mind walks, but prefers to stay at home and soak up attention there. Being senior pups, they both have short bursts of play followed by long, restorative naps. Occasionally, they'll alert if the UPS truck or the pool service come by (but only if they happen to be awake for it). Margaret is amazing. She is great at communicating. Always available via whatsapp or phone call, in case of questions. Both dogs are established at the local vet, just in case anything were to happen. The neighbors are also very friendly and helpful. The location is also great. There's a nice pool, in a quiet subdivision. There are tons of entertainment options nearby and lots of sunshine. Supermarkets, Target, coffee shops, concert venues and some nice casual restaurants are all close by. 20 minutes to PHX airport. There are bus routes nearby and light rail takes you directly to the airport. We can highly recommend this sit and are already looking forward to being back there in June!
Brittaney, as an Airbnb host, created a comfortable, "glamping" in the countryside, experience for me, as the sitter for her dog, Jax. The main house, called The Honeycomb, was decorated with style, and allowed me to focus on Jax, while enjoying the peace and quiet. The trails on the property were perfect for walking a happy, high energy dog like Jax, and the guests on the property were friendly and courteous. We would wave at each other as Jax and I went on our twice daily walks. Brittaney had great systems set up for Jax (feeding/grooming/doggy door), which just left me to enjoy my time spent on the beautiful property, with a wonderful canine companion. I will be sitting for Brittaney again, and definitely recommend Brittaney and her Airbnb resort in the Texas Hill Country.
Great sit Ceesea was super helpful and nice. The pups are great, Bernie just likes to chill and Tuna is a ball of energy. Tuna has to be one of the happiest dogs ever. Cats pretty much just do their thing and one even follows you on walks which is really funny. I would definitely house sit here again.
We had an amazing time sitting for Duncan and Natalie for the weekend. The pets are sweet and fun, and each one of them has its own personality. Popeye is a big teddy bear. Despite the size, he is quite easy to handle. We went for walks on the nature trail (literally 1 min walk from the house) and along the streets as well. He is super sweet and prefers to just chill when at home. Mika will follow you when she wants and will ask to go outside with a big meow. Tulli is a very affectionate boy, he will come and ask to be pet or curl up by you in the evening when you are watching TV. Nalla is quite independent but will ask for your attention once in a while. She also asks to go outside with meow while circling the door. I think she rules them all :) The house is amazing, spacious and cosy at the same time. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The village of Hudson turned out to be very nice. We were lucky to be there during Porchfest and enjoyed some live music while wandering the Main street. The restaurant scene is quite impressive for the community of 5K. There is a nice Sandy Beach, quite shallow, so great for little kids. Would we recommend this sit? Absolutely. We'd return 100%. Thank you Duncan and Nathalie for the opportunity and your generousity.
We had a lovely stay in Stockport. Joanna’s house looks as though it’s been professionally decorated with the use of colour and making the most of the space, so cosy and homely. We loved it! Zuri is a affectionate little guy, who got used to us very quickly and wanted lots of pats and cuddles on the couch. We were nervous first time letting him out but he sticks close by and comes back to the door often to be let back in, very easy to call him back in when needed. He was very easy to care for. Thanks for having us :)
Sitting for Angela and her three cuties was so much fun! Isaac, Wolfie, and Schrodinger were all very sweet and pretty low key (Monty was not there for this sit). They all wanted various levels of affection but all very manageable, and all three are down to play as well. They slept with me which was really cute. Angela was also very kind and considerate and made sure I was comfortable and happy during my stay. She also gave a thorough rundown of the sit beforehand which I very much appreciated. Also, her tiny house is adorable and has everything you need! I definitely recommend this sit.
