Caroline and Henry are the best! Caroline was very easy to communicate with, her apartment has everything you might need and is in a great location- close to beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Henry is the sweetest dog our family ever took care of. He loved hiking, going to the beach and snuggling with us. We miss him a lot! We would definitely recommend this sit and would be back in a heartbeat.
We had a fantastic 10 days looking after Dusty, he is a very chilled, too cool for school style of kitty! 😻 Clare and Dai are amazingly generous hosts, they took us out for dinner and drinks at a local pub on the first night to say thanks and we had so much fun, especially the pub quiz! We got on fabulously, they have an open invitation to visit us anytime in New Zealand! The house is very comfortable, homely, and is located on the High Street in the picturesque village of Collingham. It’s an easy walk to the local village pub, chippy, butcher, Co-op, and the train station. The One Stop shop is literally at the end of the drive. It is a great location for trips throughout Lincolnshire, the train is perfect for visiting Newark, Lincoln, and Nottingham. The neighbours were so welcoming and beyond awesome, we had driveway drinks on sunny afternoons, a guided trip to the village pub, and even a karaoke session! Fabulous 🥳 We would highly recommend house and kitty sitting for Clare and Dai , you will have a great experience with Dusty in Collingham!
I had the most peaceful sit at Lisa’s in Pensacola Enjoying the company of three little buddies: Meiji Max and Bunnie Very comfortable home and lots of quite countryside!!( possibly too quite for those who seek a more active environment) Lisa was very sweet and accomodating I would highly recommend this house/pet sit Carroll
It was a pleasure to housesit for Heather and Drew. Angus and Cedar were great company and a lot of fun, while AH was a very independent cat who socialised as necessary. A lovely home in s fantastic location, highly recommended.
I had such an amazing time in Gudrun’s gorgeous home! I spent 6 weeks there working remotely and enjoying the company of Lykke, Pooh and Belinda and the beautiful town of Kritsa. Gudrun was so kind and welcoming, drove me at the beginning and end of my stay and even went as far as to invite me for lunch when I arrived. The pets were fabulous company and bringing Lykke for her walks gave me a great excuse to see the whole village and surrounding landscape every day, and I have enough photos of Belinda and (the all too photogenic) Pooh to last me a lifetime! Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful home and pets :)
Instructions and communication before and during the sit were great- nice, safe neighborhood (closer to Black Diamond than Auburn) and was easy to plug into the monitors and utilize the office setup. Everything in the house was easy to find/utilize and the setup for the cats and dog was very straightforward. I would recommend for any future sitters that they either be able to physically handle a timid/skittish dog, or have a lot of similar experience. Bazooka is a wonderful, sweet dog, but I wasn’t always able to get him to continue walking if anyone was within eyesight, even if they walked past and we could no longer see them, or he would strain significantly on the leash. While I worked during the day, he hung out and had no issues, and never interfered with my work but loved the petting and belly rubs in between work tasks! The cats primarily do their own thing, and were only sometimes there when I went to clean litterbox/give them food and water. After a day or two Virginia starting approaching me, and Nikiri would cautiously move a bit closer as well. They were easy to take care of. Besides that one recommendation about Bazooka I would have no other hesitations about recommending a sit at Sarah and Gaurav’s!
