Katie
Kate and her family are all so lovely.

They have a beautiful country home, full of character and with very large grounds.

The house is very homely, clean, and tidy.

The pets were all absolutely delightful, an utter joy to be with.

Looking after Katie’s home and pets was easy, and everything went really well.
It was just the perfect week in the countryside, living our country dream in their beautiful country home.

We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

Thank you for having us.

Grace and I kicked off our Trusted House Sitter’s roadtrip with the most beautiful February caring for Marina’s pets. Her home sits on top of a hill, featuring a beautiful mountain range, sunset, and gazebo view. This safe neighborhood has the perfect walking path on the cusp of it; which made it a treat to keep up with Marina’s routine for her youthful Huskies, Kai and Aspen. Her routine includes long walks with the dogs each morning and afternoon. Marina has many incredibly kind neighbors, family, and good friends willing to help out as well. Broomfield was such an ideal area to stay in, with a short drive to Denver, Boulder, and the mountains. Easy access to grocery stores, pharmacies, any errands you may need to run. We absolutely fell in love with her two huskies, who made great buddies to explore nearby trails and the mountain towns. We also had the honor of caring for KK, the most charming cat, who had an unfortunate turn of health just prior to our arrival. Marina clearly explained all of his medication needs, which were the most involved portion of our stay. We are sympathetic to the next house sitters, who will not have the pleasure of KK’s company, and to Marina, who recently lost the most incredible companion. Her other cat, Bella, is extremely sweet, cuddly, and low maintenance. Meeting Marina was an absolute pleasure, and we hope to continue our relationship with her and her pets anytime we are in Colorado.

I loved, loved my time caring for Cricket and Titus.

Cricket is a friendly adventure dog. Together, we explored the foothills of the Alps with fantastic hikes.

Titus is the caricature of a French cat. He is knowing, takes a while to warm up, like his alone time but will surprise you with a warm gesture.❤️

The family made me feel incredibly welcome with giving me local information and making sure that I had what I needed for a 2-week visit. We stayed in touch while they were gone.

Brigette thought of everything to help me get situated including picking me up from the train station and having food available for me.

I absolutely loved being able to hike several mountains, and a few ski days at La Clusaz and Saint Gervais.

It was a great stay in a beautiful setting.

I couldn't have asked for a better house sit!

Communication pre-arrival was seamless and Natalie showed me around the community and introduced me to fellow neighbors in case I had any questions or wanted to explore the local area -- I was even invited to her book club (what a dream!). The condo is located in a secure building with convenient amenities, rooftop, a pool, and a co-working space in a very safe and desirable neighborhood with plenty of eateries.

Theo is a sweet cat and an ideal work-from-home colleague keeping me company and letting me know with his snuggles when it's time to log off for the day. His daily oral medications were pretty simple and he warmed up to me after the first day.

I can't say enough positive things about Natalie and her sweet cat, Theo. If given the opportunity to return to Costa Rica, I'd be there in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Lovely and loving pups! Sweet Suede and playful Wolfie were a pleasure to stay with and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them in their beautiful home. They have the most endearing personalities and interpersonal dynamics and keep you smiling with their cute walks and snacktime excitement. Laura and Erin are wonderful people and provided perfect instructions on doggie and house details, and the most comfortable accommodations. It would be a delight to return someday!

It was a pleasure to housesit Michael's home from April 11-14, 2023, and care for his two dogs and two cats. The home was very comfortable and accessible, and the pets were very friendly.
