Julie
We had a wonderful experience looking after Neil and Julies animals, sheep, dogs, chooks, goldfish and a pig named Wilbur. It was our first time looking after livestock and it was very rewarding. The views from every window and glass door were gorgeous with huge trees and distant mountains at the back and pastures and grazing sheep out the front. Julie was super organised with a large folder full of explanations and instructions on their home and animals. Their home is spacious and comfortable with a contemporary country decor. They welcomed us warmly with a thorough tour and explanation of the animals needs followed by a delicious meal. Feeding was twice a day (once a day for the dogs) and was quick and easy. We felt relaxed and safe in their country home with friendly neighbours homes just visible across the paddocks. We would love to return and would highly recommend this sit to anyone who would like a real rural farm experience.

Nicole
We had a lovely stay at Nicole’s place, Polly and Nahla are both very sweet with loads of personality. The area is nice and quiet but there are shops and amenities close by and a lot of provincial parks to explore. Nicole went above and beyond to accomodate our family and was very communicative, overall we had a wonderful experience 😊

Katie and Britany are fantastic, warm hosts, who we'd hang out with regularly if we lived closer. They made me, my husband and toddler feel so welcomed. Rosie, their dog, is a total cuddle bug and easy to walk, feed and snuggle with.

Bryony
We had the most wonderful stay at Bryony & family's house. The house is in a really idyllic, private countryside setting.

We came as a pack of four with two little ones who absolutely loved the experience - from walking down the beautiful garden to greeting the hens good morning, collecting freshly laid eggs, playing on the swings or trampoline, looking after the bunnies and guinea pigs in their play area, taking Milo for lovely countryside walks, to roasting marshmallows in the fire pit - we loved it all! Not to mention the gorgeous walks and plenty of things to do in the area.

Milo was great - a super loyal companion to wherever we went around the house and gorgeous garden. He alerted us to anyone coming to the house which was fab when we were all down playing in the garden not hearing a doorbell. Milo is super well trained around taking his food, doesn't ask at the table yet he stays close by in the hope a crumb falls down ;)
With his boundless enthusiasm on walks, particularly when meeting other dogs, he's the perfect dog for a sitter with some experience of looking after larger dogs. And we wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend this sit for those with young children, as Milo was so gentle and patient with our little ones - especially our 3 yo son who insisted on trying to sit on / ride him!

The communication with Bryony has been excellent and we have been warmly welcomed to their family home. We loved the opportunity to house and pet sit for them!

We have just completed a 3 day sit for Cuthbert and thoroughly enjoyed it! Cuthbert gradually warmed to us and was always around to greet us enthusiastically when we had been out.

Katie was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed before she left and the apartment was very clean, tidy and comfortable.
We had never been to this area before and loved it! we visited Southwold pier and beach, Bungay which was just a 10 minute walk away and Beccles.
A memorable stay and would certainly recommend.

Thanks Katie for this opportunity. Sarah and Pat (Solihull)

Hosts were readily available for any questions throughout the sit and the home was comfortably located in a safe neighborhood abut 15 minutes from downtown Bend.

I was impressed to have all three pups easily warm up when I got there. All three dogs know their routines well and are comfortable being left at the house for a few hours. Lois definitely has enough energy to play fetch all day. It was cute to see her jump for joy when it was mealtime. Suzy and Keegan are two sweet peas in a pod. They’re almost always cuddling up to each other. If you’re up for it, Keegan will jump on your lap for kisses and cuddles while you’re watching something on the huge flatscreen in the bonus room/ office.

I’d recommend this sit for a single person or couple who wants to experience some mountain living!
