Thanks to Annie and Phil for the warm welcome and their hospitality. I had a fleeting one night sit but enjoyed my time looking after Woody and Mabel. They are an affectionate pair who enjoy some attention but were equally happy just doing their own thing and snoozing. The house is cosy, bed comfy and I enjoyed a walk around Howden's park (the Ashes) and look around the shops. Everything is a short stroll away from the house so very handy. Skye does her own thing so our paths never crossed! (She has her own room with cat flap so topping up her food was only thing required for this short sit). Annie is fun, friendly and was great on the communication before hand so everything was smooth to get the sit booked in. She kindly got me in bread, milk etc so all the basics where there waiting. It was a wet weekend I stayed but the garden would be lovely to enjoy in decent weather. Thanks again Annie for your kind hospitality :)
Two adorable cats and communication with Manuela was perfect. I stayed for a couple of days and felt very comfortable at her place, the cats made me laugh all the time and it’s so much fun watching them play. it was quiet and it’s very central. Totally recommend it.
We had a great time sitting for Rafi & Jata. They are an adorable pair, super active and lots of fun. They loved going for walks, play the ball, but also were super sweet and liked to cuddle with us. Georgia & Steve were terrific hosts! They have a beautiful house in the forrest, secluded but a short drive away from town. We were super comfortable and would do it again in a heartbeat!
We spent a fantastic winter month in this place. Spotz, Brownie and Ubuntu are great doggies, with a lot of personality, very independent but they also love cuddles , our company and taking long walks. Taking care of them was wonderful and saying goodbye was very sad for us after a month with them. We´re still missing them a lot.. The house is very cozy and quiet.The best thing was being able to see from the window the deers that came to the surroundings every morning to have breakfast and and the number of birds that could be heard at dawn. Maria Elisabeth and Guido are cool, charming and generous. They were lovely upon our arrival. Despite the hours of difference, we communicated easily and they always responded quickly to all our questions. Thank you wholeheartedly for everything. We would have loved to have spent more time with you, we hope to see you again! :) A hug for all of you !
