Amie is one of the best sitters I've ever interacted with. She went above and beyond to care for Mixon over the two and a half months I was away. Since he recently had been diagnosed with a kidney issue prior to my trip, I was worried about leaving him. She kept me informed on a daily basis (with pics!) about how he was doing and even spoke with my vet several times to make sure he was ok when he wasn't going to the bathroom regularly. I never had to worry once! She also did a great job with my plants and kept my home in clean and tidy condition. She was also very self-sufficient and organized - she took notes when she came over to meet Mixon & see the apartment prior to the sit! 10/10 would recommend Amie.

Allen and their partner watched my cat Terra over a weekend trip, and I felt much better having folks in my house watching my cat while I was away!

Monica and Matthew were amazing! They provided regular updates and even took my dog to the vet when they noticed a mole on her eye seemed infected. I was so relieved that they caught it and took immediate action. My girls also loved them! Not only were they great dog sitters, but they also took excellent care of my home. It was spotless when I returned after 3 weeks of traveling, which was such a relief. I would definitely use them in the future if our schedules work out. Such a lovely couple! :)

Nicole and Darius were fantastic! Great communication and took great care of my dog Poppy. Poppy clearly loved playing with their dog during their stay. They left my place very clean and were considerate of my belongings.

Karen & Nicholas

Karen and Nicholas were fantastic - 5 stars all the way. They really put the pets first and they were amazing with them - I think I came back to the happiest dogs ever. The older one especially was pampered and received lots of attention that the puppy normally monopolized and she had a great time. Karen and Nicholas were extremely flexible and easy going, left my house in pristine shape and communicated perfectly during my long absence. I hope I will be so lucky to have them back again some time in the future.

Pavel was the perfect house sitter and took amazing care of my two cats while we were away! Pavel is a great communicator, very conscientious, clearly loves animals, and left our place cleaner than he found it. I can’t recommend Pavel highly enough!

Tom

Although I have used TH several times since 2018, this is the first review I have submitted. Tom has restored my faith in both TH in general and sitters under 30 in particular! Tom arrived late on a Friday night and I did not leave until Monday afternoon so I could show him around. At some point either on Saturday or early Sunday I noticed Tigger following him around. It was obvious he wanted to be close to Tom. I had never seen Tigger do this before. The previous sitter took good care of them, but I did not see much affection or connection even after 4 months together. With Tom I could see it almost immediately. It was mutual between him and the dogs. He cooked their meat and veggies to mix in with the kibble, gave Tigger his obligatory supplement every day and walked them very early on the beach before the sun was too hot, playing with them in the ocean at times. I received photos and an occasional video of them and could see how happy they were - to the point where I thought they might get depressed when he left! Fortunately, they didn't... Tom is just so calm with a lovely energy that the dogs obviously sense. Considering his prior experiences were mostly with cats I was surprised at how quickly he "clicked" with them and would highly recommend him as a sitter for any pet. If I could give him more than 5 stars in the pet care category I would! He did not complain when the internet was erratic and/or the electricity went off (for some reason, much more during the 2 months he was here than usually happens in the better part of a year!), but let me know so I could contact the neighbors and find out what was going on. As for the house and my possessions (I put those in the "tidiness" category) I have yet to have any sitter who has not left at least a few or sometimes many things either broken or damaged or even lost, not to mention dirty - even though they were clean when the sit started. The difference with Tom was that he good-naturedly came back (he stayed nearby at a new friend's house for a few days after the sit) and spent the better part of an afternoon cleaning most of the things that had been left dirty. And when I pointed out some damage to a wall he offered to pay to fix it (I did not accept, but very much appreciated the offer). Speaking of cleaning, I bought a brand new vacuum right before the previous sit started in order to make cleaning easier for the sitter. It was still in the box. When I returned it was lying on the living room floor covered in thick dust on the outside and filthy inside the drum where the filthy filters were; and the tube and attachment were completely clogged. I cleared out the tube, but gave up on the drum and filter after removing some of the dirt. I wasn't even sure it would work. Tom cleaned it all up and was able to use it! He also helped me upload a couple of photos onto my listing. He is so pleasant and considerate, asking about things he was in doubt about instead of just doing them and hoping he had made the right choice - unfortunately, I can't think of a specific instance right now and since I believe today is the last day to submit the review they will remain unsaid. In closing, I would like to publicly thank Tom for giving such loving care to Tigger and Shala. I highly recommend that you choose him as a sitter - your pets will thank you! :)

Magdalena

Magdalena had an emergency early on so left Sebastian to manage on his own. That's why a team sit is good! My dog probably had longer periods alone than we were expecting but at least there was no interruption. I believe Sebastian made extra efforts to adjust his work schedule to come home when the dog needed to be walked. I don't speak spanish very well but they tolerated my efforts and used as much English as they could. Texting and translation apps were enough to have good communication. They could have left the house cleaner by sweeping the floor and putting away items used. However the most important things were good care of my dog and trustworthiness which I was satisfied with. I think it would have been even better under different circumstances had Magdalena been able to stay the full two weeks.

Kevin was perfectly responsive in the buildup to and during the sit. The house was perfectly clean when we returned and you can tell Kevin is a fellow dog owner - Nelson seemed very happy. Can recomment Kevin highly. 5 stars.

Monique was truly amazing! She was an angel for my pup, Homer. He was really sad to see her go! She kept me updated throughout my time away, was super communicative before and during the trip, and even left my apartment cleaner than before I left. Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!

Noah

First of all, the location of the house is a gem - the house sits right on Lake Massapoag, as you can see from the photos, and neighbors a yacht club. The yacht club was off season when I visited during the Labor Day break, but there were still sail boats anchored in the lake and they made for a great view. Speaking of the view, the sunset and sunrise views from the guest room where I stayed were incredible and cued my internal clock that it was time to get up early and go to bed earlier than usual which I greatly appreciated – it gave me an opportunity to really take advantage of the daylight.

Second, Shayna is just a pure ball of love and joy. She will want to stay by your side at all times and will want to accompany you on your hikes and walks around the lake. She is a very active and playful dog and makes for a great hiking companion – I think I ended up walking a lot more than anticipated during my stay with her, which I am very grateful for. I can’t wait to see Shayna again!

And lastly, Alison and Noah are wonderful hosts who not only opened up their hearts and pantry to me on the day of my arrival but also cooked me delicious dinner. During our introductory Zoom call, they had asked me what kind of food I usually ate and made sure it was in the fridge by my arrival. When they returned, and it was time for me to leave, it felt like I was saying goodbye to old friends. They are such warm and loving people – I made friends for life and will be visiting them again.

Aimee is very easy to communicate with , the apartment is very comfortable and Dusty and Boots very easy to care for. Aimee has everything well organised with automatic feeders and water. This apartment is very close to CBD,beach,and only a short walk to the Botanic gardens.

I had a wonderful time looking after Bella and Louie, they are adorable and really easy going. Bella knows her neighbourhood really well and showed me places I would have never gone to by myself. 
Sharon’s apartment in that beautiful Shabby-chic building in Central Liverpool was very pleasant and ideally located. 
Sharon and I had smooth check in and check out handovers, and lovely connection. 
I had a great time with Bella and Louie, and would not hesitate to come back should an opportunity present itself.
