House Sitting for John and Eva was a very enjoyable experience. They were very generous, accommodating and really helped us to get settled in. We arrived early and they had made us a wonderful meal the night before they left. They left extensive instructions for us and the house was in very clean, neat and tidy condition. They also left us many great suggestions on how to spend our time in Andover, which we really enjoyed. We were able to stay easily in communication with John and Eva while they were away and knew exactly when they were returning. We loved meeting our two hosts and would heartily recommend this house sit for anyone who wanted to be in Southwest England. Thank you so much to Eva and John for this wonderful opportunity.

We had a great time in the house of Katie and Jack. They are very welcoming hosts and explained to us everything about the dogs, the cat and the area we needed to know in advance. They also were always ready to answer questions during our time in their house.
Every animal was lovely and cuddly on its own way. The walks were very pleasant, you just have to keep Charlie away from other dogs.

The house was beautifully furnished and clean, as far as that is possible with so many animals. We really enjoyed using the pool!
There were plenty of great cafés and restaurants in the region.

We recommend them wholeheartedly and would come back at any time.

This was a great sit! A short one but so rewarding. Both Nadia & Gustavo were awesome and super warm. I had a great time with Leia, it took her around 1 day to get used to me, and then would see me work from the office/bedroom. She would also assist me when I cooked my meals :). Hope to visit them soon! :)

I had a great time staying with Maurice in downtown Toronto! I found him to be a easy going cat who loved following me around and getting his face and back rubbed. The house was cozy and located in a quiet neighbourhood that's close to both Little Italy and KTown (both of which had many great food options).
Thank you Geordie for being a great host and letting me stay in your home :)

We’ve absolutely loved our sit at Whitebrook. We looked after 7 month old Twig - a cheeky, but adorable, 7 month old Labradoodle. She’s currently a typical teenager but more responsive than our own ;-) Very good off the lead with good recall.
Jelly is really the lady of the house - she loves lying in the peaceful gardens soaking up the sun, or snoozing in front of the log fire.
There are beautiful walks right on the doorstep. And a lovely pub within easy walking/cycling distance.
Monmouth is a short drive away for supplies at Waitrose/Lidl or a market on Fridays and Saturdays. Also lots of lovely coffee shops about.
The surrounding areas are incredibly picturesque and we can recommend the food at The Wild Hare in Tintern - especially the truffle and Parmesan hot chips!!!
We stayed in the cottage/farmhouse which felt very traditional and cosy. And we were very fortunate to also get to sit 4 extremely cute puppies and their beautiful mum a couple of times during the week.
We didn’t get to meet Julia or Poppy during our stay, but had good contact with them throughout. Hopefully we’ll get to meet at a future date if another Housesit becomes available.

Sioux
I enjoyed meeting Sioux and Bart, and staying in Palm Springs w/their labs, Dolce and Groovy – and am grateful they took a long-distance chance on me, as I visited from out of state. We developed a great rapport; they were warm, communicated well, were clear about their interests, and checked in on my well-being throughout and to the point at which I returned home.

They also provide such thoughtful care to their pups, who are intelligent, loving, playful, obedient and easy to love! Their home was very comfortable and convenient to all amenities. Such a wonderful experience - and I would happily consider another sit for them in the future!
